We got to see Capuchin monkeys. The staff was very friendly and professional. The breakfast was delicious and variety. This lodge hotel is not fancy, but it has a cozy feeling.

It was a short stay but it was sweet! Laundry service was quick and professional. Tony helped us organize popular tours including coffee farm, night walks, ziplining, and horseback riding. He gave us the best recommendations and my kids had a great time. The breakfast was also delicious and we enjoyed Tony’s homemade marmalade. I highly recommend staying here!

Dreams Monteverde was absolutely wonderful! Tonny and Yariel our hosts were very attentive and helpful. From the moment we arrived they made us feel welcomed. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We also really enjoyed the breakfast. The coffee was delicious and we appreciated the Greetings from our hosts. I definitely recommend for anyone traveling to Monte Verde

This was one of our best hotel stays ever. Tony and his team were excellent. Breakfast each morning was top-notch; Tony gave great recommendations for bird-watching tours, night walks, and ziplining; and our room had a little balcony where we could watch wildlife. We saw an agouti a couple of times and got a picture of a Motmot on the ground below us. If our travels bring us to Monteverde again, we will definitely be staying at the Dreams!

This property was amazing. Not only that the staff make you feel at home. Tony was amazing and recommend great tours for us, if you want to see birds/wildlife ask him to book with Javier, he was an amazing guide. If we come back, we will definitely be staying here again!

This was a lovely little place to stay, just slightly out of town but walkable in about ten minutes to the centre. Also walkable to the mirador Valle Escondido, which is worth the walk for sunset. Cabin was clean, I think we were in one of the smaller ones but it was fine for us. Bathroom was small and needs a bit of updating. Breakfast was fresh fruit and then either pancakes or rice and beans. Capuchin monkeys live in the area so you'll likely see those. Staff were always friendly and helpful, especially Betsy. Would be happy to go back there.

Smaller hotel, appears yo be family run. Very responsive staff, and very friendly. Good location, close to the Butterfly Gardens and away from the main road but not too far. Great sunset view over the valley is a short 10 minute walk away.

Our clerk gave us valuable recommendations on what to do and where to go and made a reservation for us including transportation. We're very satisfied thus far.

Dreams Lodge is within walking distance of many food choices. The staff made us welcome and were very helpful in setting up transportation to activities so we didnt have to drive. We even experienced a monkey breakfast show. We would definitely recommend this lodge to others wanting a quiet place in Monteverde.

The location is about a 20 minute walk from the main town in the area, Santa Elena, which was convenient (we preferred to walk rather than drive as the road to the property is quite rough, like many of the roads in the region). Parking was available and never an issue at the property during our stay. Breakfast was provided and we enjoyed the monkey "guests". Staff were very welcoming. The triple room, however, was quite small. The "larger" bed was a double (not queen) and there was also a twin, but they were quite close together in the room. The main concern, however, was the inconsistent electricity. On both days of our stay the power (and wifi, which was decent when it worked), went out for extended periods of time. We're not sure if this is specific to the property itself or indicative of the area, but can say that at least on the first night, power was available up the street and in the town. Overall, the property is a good choice if you're budget conscious and don't want to stay in a hostel in Santa Elena.

Betsy and the staff at Dreams Lodge were incredibly helpful, kind, and eager to make our stay as special as possible. I loved the week in Monteverde. The monkeys coming by some mornings made for an extra special experience. Thank you Betsy and all! Highly recommend this place. :)

Really good service. No fan or air conditioner in our room but other than that it was an awesome place. Not a big deal because it cools down at night. Breakfast was great (free and homemade). They booked all our “excursions” for us. Very kind people.

Perfect quiet stay with clean and calm atmosphere. The hotel staff is very helpful and courteous. The front desk lady offered help with activity bookings and very responsive to WhatsApp messages.

The hotel is in a quiet area in the outskirts of Monteverde, which was a great bet, as town can be rather noisy. Staff was fantastic and really helpful. Room was clean and well cared for. Nice shower and comfy bed. Enjoyable typical breakfast with free entertainment offered by the resident cat. Lovely stay!

AMAZING! Marilyn & Tony were fantastic hosts. We stayed 2 nights and it felt like home. Safe, comfortable, friendly. A beautiful location walkable to shopping & restaurants. The Butterfly Garden is just down the road and the staff helped us arrange a night walking tour. Fresh made breakfast including the best pancakes my daughter says she has ever had! Thank you so much! The staff were exceptional. They really made our stay very memorable. They helped us with booking activities including the ziplining and the night tour. They made a very good breakfast and were helpful in providing good information regarding souvenirs and local eateries.

Owner couldn’t find our reservation because it was under Expedia and not VRBO. We did figure it out but it was stressful.

We stayed for two nights and although it was ok I have to say we were a little disappointed. Our room was in a second floor and had a very awkward entrance with low beams which were easy to crack your head on. There also seemed to be some gaps around doorways meaning moths etc. could get in. The shower was difficult to figure out and didn’t consistently give hot water. The staff were helpful and the room was comfortable enough, but we’d just hoped for a bit better overall. Also it’s a very bumpy road to get down to the hotel, so location is not ideal.
