Perfect room and view. They also propose a nice dinner with fresh and tasty products. The only improvement could be the check out process that was long and difficult (employee didn't know how to use the Visa terminal).

Beautiful place for a few night. Nearby Florence and perfect spot to explore surroundings. Beautiful rooms and spectacular view at Florence. Swimming-pool is nice if open. Food is nice with a good selection of quality wine and when lucky you dine private. Staff is kind and really helpful. 5*

Great Villa outside the bustle of Florence. Fabulous views of Florence and the country side. Very nice staff. Great breakfast and dinners. Several other good restaurants nearby. Best if you have a car to get to Florence and for side trips.

Stunning villa on the outskirts of Florence - tucked away on a private road. The room was a good size and comfortable. We visited during the offseason, so we weren't able to take advantage of the outdoors and the property as much as we would have liked (due to weather). It looks as though there is a new pool going in. A couple of things which may be improved: the hotel does not allow you to bring food in and Florence shuts down on Sunday's except the city centre - so plan your Sunday meals accordingly (we were allowed to order pizza). Also, there are a couple of dogs at the property in the offseason and let's just say there could be more attention to picking up after the dogs. Overall, the staff we great, food was good, and this property made for a very enjoyable long weekend stay.

Very relaxing and beautiful place. Only 20 miuntes from the City center but quite and tranquill environtment you could feel. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants enjoy both rural and city experience in Florence.

This hotel is gorgeous! It’s up on the hill overlooking Florence so a taxi ride or if you have a car, all the better. The grounds are well maintained, rooms are gorgeous, breakfast is fantastic and they have snacks in the early evening as you consider cocktails. It is a very peaceful place with plenty of exploring for the kids. They did not have an appropriate dinner menu for kids however, but were willing to try. If you want to go into town for sight seeing- allow at least 30 mins to even call a taxi as the Florence public transit seems always overwhelmed. We would definitely come back again!!!

This was a lucky last minute booking and we truly adored the property , the rooms everything. A very special boutique style hotel . we look forward to returning in a few years.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this family owned and lived in property. It has been maintained very well with various areas for sitting and admiring the lovely views. We ate in the restaurant twice which we enjoyed.

Beautiful romantic with amazing views. Definitely for nature lover. If you drive you have to know they the roads are very narrow and steep at some parts. Villa is dared to find as it is behind a gate in a wall. Too far to walk to city venter of that is where you want to be. I loved being there for the relaxing atmosphere.

A beautiful villa just outside of Florence! There was a lot of character both in the exterior and in the antique decorations occupying the inside. The rooms are gorgeous and classic, everything was spotless and comfortable. The service, from check-in, to breakfast, to check-out was A+, very accommodating, friendly, and willing to help with whatever was needed. We checked in pretty late and they still made sure to see if we had already had dinner so that they could make space for us in the dining room if not. Definitely need a car or taxi to make it up to the villa, we werent sure we wanted to splurge on a taxi being that there was a bus stop fairly close however once we decided to do the taxi we were very happy we did because it was quite a trek up to the actual estate. We only stayed one night but I wish we couldve stayed a couple more to get the full effect. Great place for couples and a nice place to get away.

We thought this was a lovely place to stay if your here to see Florence this is not the right hotel , although it’s only a few km from the city centre it took us over an hour to get there , it took more than 15 minutes just to get out of the gate , it’s one way and tight turn

All very beautiful and clean. The only problem I found are the dogs. 3 big shepherds free around the property. I found one eating food from the “aperitivo” buffet and that is unacceptable. That’s why I gave a neutral score to the cleaniness.

Words, not even pictures can do justice to the beauty of this magical Tuscan Villa. Located in the Castello region, just up on the North hills/ outskirts of Florence, this place does not disappoint in any way. The million-dollar view (at least from the Limonaia suite) overlooks the entire city of Florence which is picturesque both day and night. The property grounds are beautiful and one could spend a half day just exploring them. Inside the villa is a large study which acts as the restaurant. The chef of the villa is quite talented, one must have the prawn risotto, ravioli and filet if available. Wine list is respectable. Breakfasts are generous, with the typical cured meats, cheeses, baked goods, juices, etc. Service from the front desk to restaurant is impeccable. Suites have old world charm and very comfortable beds. Linens and amenities are top shelf. Access to the city centre in Florence is fairly easy with a ten to fifteen minute downhill walk to take one of the buses (route 14) to Piazza San Marco. Property owners, who live on site have really done a masterful job with this place in terms of hospitality. Reserve this location without hesitation.

We had a suite for 3 people.ORANGE SUITE. The view from it to the garden and to the city was amazing. Everything was really perfect. The villa is beautiful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Bathroom too. It was lacking hair-dryer but maybe I couldn't find it. There was an in-room tea and coffee preparation set. Beds comfortable. Breakfast was quite good. We had lunch too and it was very nice. The photos on the site are real! Wi-Fi very good.
