What an excellent experience! The hotel staff were kind and accommodating. The hotel is perfectly located in the midst of San Marcos where all the tourist attractions are situated. The hotel is clean serving a daily, delicious breakfast. Thank you for a beautiful Venice vacation Al Theatro Palace.

Overall this property felt more like a Hampton Inn or 3-star, definitely not high end or luxury. The room was really small and the shower minuscule barely any room to turn around. The towels were really worn and tattered. The slippers seemed used and smelled! The breakfast was just ok, had much better at the other hotels in Italy. Juice was not fresh, for example. The lady at the front was very helpful but the older man and I spoke to on the phone a few days before check in, not so much. It was incredibly expansive for what you get. Overall not super impressed but I guess the location is decent to major attractions. Not on the water so be prepared to drag you luggage over multiple bridges, stairs and cobblestones if you’re taking the public water taxi. A private one will cost you $80 USD for a 10 min ride to the hotel (and still have to drags your bags a few mins up and down stairs)

An absolutely fantastic accommodation option in the heart of Venice. Very clean, friendly staff, great rooms. Amazing breakfast on site. So very close to the water and Piazza San Marco. Absolutely perfect. Would recommend to anyone going to Venice!

Fantastic stay with attentive staff. The complementary breakfast cannot be beat. Staff was nice enough to arrange a water taxi and walk us to the pick up location. We would definitely recommend!

Dead bug smashed into the curtain in the bathroom. Staff was very helpful.

The male staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, with no warm greetings. Highly overpriced for the value provided and shouldn’t be rated as high as it is.

The hotel is a boutique style, it was in a good area, walkable to the turistic areas around the colisseum. The staff was kind and helpful. Is a good place to stay in Rome.

Walkable to main attractions in Venice. Clean, comfortable room with excellent breakbast.

I arrived at the hotel early and wanted to check in at 10:00 AM but my room wasn't ready. They offered me a complementary breakfast. While I was eating breakfast they delivered me my key and said that the room was ready! Later that night I had a problem with the toilet and they moved me to a new room without any hesitation!

Hotel was lovely, rooms are little small which is expected in Venice, Staff was very helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the rooftop was a nice surprise on the property.

Lovely place to stay at.

All of the aspects were great I only had two complaints, for a 4 star hotel. The shower is way too small and I’m a small skinny guy standing 5’6” and 120lbs. I still found myself knocking the water valve off and or knocking the shower door open. Also towels were very rough, like sandpaper. I would still recommend this hotel to my friends because it is a 4 star hotel in all aspects.

The service was great and the the staff very friendly and helpful, The room was very warm at night, it did not feel like there was any AC. Our room was by the street which the noise was loud until about 1 in the morning, made it hard to sleep because of the restaurant next door. Room was small but very nice.

I can’t say enough good things about this place: boutique hotel with nice patio, clean facilities, excellent breakfast included - we were really surprised at how good the breakfast was - close walk to San. Angelo. Excellent 😀 value for this part of Venice. Overall, we were very impressed. Would go back for sure.

We enjoyed our stay at Al Theatro Palace. Our room was neat and clean. The location is perfect! A bonus is the rooftop terrace available to guests for drinks and snacks. Would definitely stay here again.

I simply loved it. Great hotel, great staff, great location and great breakfast too. Will stay there again for sure when in Venice. Smaller hotel (around 26 rooms), the staff was super cordial and helpful. The room was nice and big, so was the bathroom. The mattress was a California king, firm and comfy. Room had air conditioning and all toiletries. Complementary water was offered.

Our room was not clean, there was a lot of dust around the coffee display and under the bed, the kettle was brown inside, disgusting really. The concierge had to ask the cleaning service to clean the coffee station 2 days in a row because they did not do it. The breakfast was good. Nice selection. The service was particular, the girl looked at me from head to toe each morning...even saying my name was not on the room list while I pointed her my name on her paper. The Hotel was the only downside to our Venice trip. Not worth the price.

A really nice boutique hotel within walking distance of St. Marks square. Its just a little bit off the beaten track in Venice, but trust me, that is a good thing. It's easy to get just about anywhere in San Marco from this hotel. Our room was great, the staff were so friendly and helpful (especially Claudia --- I think that was her name). There are many restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again.
