A very nice B&B, nice area. No lift, but didn't expect one. The owner was friendly and welcoming, food was very good

Beautiful property, finished to a very good standard. Friendly welcome on arrival. Comfy beds. Beautifully furnished and decorated good sized twin room with tea/coffee making facilities, tv, wet-walled en-suite toilet and shower cubicle All areas spotlessly clean and new looking internally. Outside areas had seating and relaxation areas but only stayed one night and didn’t use them. Limited off-road free parking (3-4 spaces). Very close to the train station (2 minute stroll), in a residential area.
Set breakfast time, which was a touch early for me (8.30-9am Saturday) and 10am check out. Fine if you want an early start but I could’ve personally done with it all put back an hour.

Lovely stay in this beautiful and comfortable B&B. Owner was present for our welcome and very organized with set up and building entry and parking . Breakfast was very enjoyable and yummy . Would visit Dumfries and the B&B again in the future if given a chance for sure . Centrally located to downtown area with great dining options . Thanks

A very enjoyable stay, Freda was very helpful and could not have done more to make the stay pleasant and enjoyable.

Our stay was wonderful. We were more than an hour late arriving, due to car trouble and we were welcomed in as if it was no problem. NICE people, wonderful, comfortable room, good shower. Didn't have breakfast due to sleeping late, but we highly recommend.

This is my second stay on business. Well kept and very clean. Great breakfast- tailored to dietary needs. Close to downtown. The mattress was a bit lumpy but the service and cleanliness are 5 star!

Lovely room and great checkin/ check out. Location is great for train travellers and close to the High Street. The only downside was the bed was a bit worn out and could use a new mattress- to go with the other fine details of the hotel :)

An amazing place to stay, Freda is the super hoste. The furnishings are first class, never seen so many sockets and usb points in a room. Very handy for railway station too.

single night after driving around the region, they contacted us ahead about our choice of beds, allowed us the check in early. they had a covid issue with a family member so we had our breakfast in our room but it was well done with quality ingredients
