Perfect for a short solo trip. Staff were friendly and helpful. 10 minute walk from the underground and supermarket. The room was large. There was a bit of noise from the street but earplugs sorted that. The shared toilets and showers were clean and never busy.

Great location and easy walking distance from transport links. The room was bigger than I expected and very comfortable. The fridge in the room was particularly welcome.

Fantastic place, especially if you are looking for something simple while doing sightseeing

It was sold as a hotel but when we arrived realised it was student accommodation being used to house guests out of term time. Arrived at the reception of the address given after ordering the room, but were then told that our room was in another of their three buildings. The next building we were sent to still wasn't correct so again we had to walk several hundred yards to a third reception. Here we were given a key card and told to walk to the entrance to our building in which our accommodation was located. But the key didn't work so went back to reception again. Eventually we were taken to the accommodation. It was a basement apartment which was dark and smelt of damp. The bed and towels were clean and we had soap/shower gel etc. There was no TV which was a surprise given the basic amenities of a standard UK hotel. The overall location felt safe though and the staff were friendly.

Althouth the service was excellent, the room they gave me smelt like a dump and there were discusting stains on the carpet. They changed the room for a better one when I told them.

A closed historical campus of University of London - safe and good quality accommodation.

Excellent experience over all. Goodenough College is my first choice to stay in London when traveling from the US.

I really liked the college atmosphere. My room had an en suite bathroom and a spacious fridge. It was really nice: quiet, clean, not too small, very simple (in a good way!). The breakfast was tasty and affordable as well. Great location close to Russell Square and the Brunswick Centre. I will definitely book this accommodation again!

Very clean and enough space in the room. There should be microwave and coffee maker in the room.

Basic, but clean and comfortable bed. Basin in room but communal toilets and showers, but a very affordable price for central London.

Pros: The bathroom was nice and clean. Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable and the wood floors felt dirty.

Student halls of residence are great places for a one night budget stopover. I have stayed in a few and Goodenough House is one of the more interesting architecturally. Great location and lovely reception staff. My rating reflects that it's a hall of residence, not a luxury hotel!

Stayed here for work. The accomodation itself was very reasonably priced for London and practical. My room however was on the ground floor, and due to it being very warm and there being no aircon, I had to open the window to the street which did meant I heard a lot of noise from the street.

It met all my expectations. It is really good enough, very excellent quality price.

Check in was fine. Got to my room, very basic! But that’s fine as it was just a bed for the night! The bed was very uncomfortable, and the person next door to me in room 2011 who lived there has music on at 0400am and woke me up. Refused to turn it off or down.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It is postgraduate student halls- so come with that expectation. The bathroom is shared however the halls are so quiet, I rarely saw anyone over my 4 day stay. They're also cleaned daily and are very usable. Its very pleasant and the atmosphere is overall really nice. You won't find a hotel in London with a roof top terrace, gardens and cooking space for the same price.

Very nice stay. The room was slightly dated but clean and had everything needed for a business trip. Very quiet and peaceful. Location is good for much of north/central London

The room was nice enough but the toilet flush was not working at all and leaking gallons and gallons of water constantly and noisily all night. There was no one to report it to at the time I got in although I’m told that someone was on duty. I advised the next day and politely complained via email but was told that I should have tried harder to report it. I advised I’m autistic and find it hard to deal with people and this sort of scenario is a nightmare for me. I thought an offer of a free stay or something might have been nice but my emails were ignored. So anyway, a nice bright and clean room but a really weird and miserly response when something was wrong - I paid for a working bathroom and didn’t think it was unreasonable to complain when I didn’t get ine

The room was very clean,well presented and comfortable. The staff were first class,extremely helpful and welcoming. I wouid strongly recommend this accomodation.

Brilliant location, comfortable, safe and clean

Bathroom and bed clean but room not vacuumed and stains on carpet, curtains didn’t close across the windows. No lift so I had to walk up four floors (8 flights of steps) and then without any signage I had to find my way across a roof terrace to get to my room - no help or directions provided. No telephone in the room. Breakfast poor as no gluten free toast, cereal or porridge. Everything charged individually for example £1.50 for a few mushrooms! Room large and got warm when I put radiators on. Bed was comfortable but too small if there had been two of us. Very expensive - really not a hotel experience
