Nice hotel, great staff, convenient location, good parking TINY room !

A cosy little oasis in Edgbaston. Great for the Cricket ground and attending a gala dinner at The H Suite. Modern decor and bsng in the middle of the University complex. Great staff, good food and a good place to rest. Second time here and will be back again.

Excellent hotel, staff very friendly an helpful, and the room, although quite small, was well equipped and spotlessly clean.

Had booked two Feature King rooms for our annual family meet-up. It was our third time at the Edgbaston Park hotel and things have been very good in the past. But on this occasion we were greeted with the news that the rooms that had been booked were unavailable (no reason given). We were then told that luxury rooms were available and we could be switched to them, the price would be halved and we'd get a complimentary drink as a an apology. Despite the disappointment of a rather less-special stay, we're British in our stoicism, and took them up on their offer, which seemed fair. But the rooms we were given were their standard, not luxury. It looks like the reduced price was pretty-much rack-rent for that type of room. And the free drink was a very small (literally) token of an apology. When we got back on Saturday night the place was heaving with wedding guests from a do at the hotel. And with several folk who had just arrived and found no room to go to, despite being booked in - so, I guess we weren't as unfortunate as them. Points at a rather cavalier attitude to fulfilling their part of the room-for-money equation. Pretty fundamental stuff... So, next year, we've booked somewhere else. A pity, because the staff are generally really nice and the place is very up-together.

Great hotel

Great location for the university and hospitals. Nice grounds around the hotel. Decent breakfast and WiFi. Difficult to connect a console to the TV, but not impossible.

Great stay, lovely hotel and friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast choices and service. We stayed over the summer when the campus was very quiet so very limited choices for food and drink nearby. Lots of weddings at the hotel over the weekend but a top floor room at the back of the hotel meant we weren't disturbed. Recommended.

Room was very clean but some minor restyling needed, particularly in the bathroom. The cheap toilet paper lets the room down.

The hotel was nice but the walls between the rooms are very thin you can hear people from next door even though they were not being loud and you can hear anyone talking or walking in the corridors

This was honestly one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, nothing could be faulted. Staff were friendly and service second to none, food was fabulous and room was clean and comfortable - thoroughly recommend

Location was great for the cricket Parking was poor as conference on and a wedding we had to park where we could then move the next morning Room spacious plenty of sockets and charging points Bed comfy, clean and had a good sleep Bathroom clean shower powerful and good temperature Breakfast had plenty of options but majority of cooked breakfast was sitting in the oil, we did not buy any the second day

We decided to go at short notice so it was a same day booking but everything was so easy, no check in issues. Room was ideal, great size, loved the decorative wall coat hooks, clean and fresh. Had food in the on site restaurant, steak was perfectly cooked and fish pie was full of flavour. Staff were helpful and the restaurant itself is a lovely airy place to sit, food is reasonably priced for it's quality. Had a good sleep, bed and pillows were comfy. Had to keep the air con on at night but it was a quiet whir and didn't stop us sleeping. Shower was powerful and nice and hot, the bathroom was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good value, very busy but plenty of hot food brought out regularly by a small army of staff. Excellent range which included smoked salmon, multiple breads including gluten free. Really well organised and finished off a lovely stay. We parked in the on site multi storey where the ground floor is for hotel guests only. Felt very safe with motion sensitive lighting and CCTV. Make sure you put your registration number in the iPad at check in to avoid a fine! If we return to Birmingham area, we will stay here again. UoB should be proud of the standard that are being delivered by the hotel, and excellent asset.

Love this hotel its so clean, modern and really easy walking to the hospital. Free parking with lots of it is brilliant. Been staying here for over 5 years won't go anywhere else.

A fridge in the room would have been beneficial

The hotel room was perfect for what I needed. Very clean and had everything I required. The breakfast was excellent and I would stay again!

Perfect for visiting the university.

The main purpose of a hotel is to care for a nice and relaxing stay and sleep. This is why the hotels were invented for! But if the hotel Decides: -allow a party -allow smoking/steam machines that activate the fire alarm and do not allow the guests to sleep, and disrupt the relaxing stay Then this hotel is not for you. Hilarious management, allowing smoking machines that activate the fire alarm and could not stop it! Stay away from here if you want a nice basic sleep.

Everyone was super. I would stay here again.
