La habitación era amplia y todo estaba limpio, excepto el balcón.
Un calor tremendo en todo el edificio ni en la recepción tenían puesto el aire acondicionado. La planta de la piscina y del gym, muy mala olor toallas sucias por los suelos..ni la llegamos a usar.... En el desayuno (buffet) no había buffet el segundo día si pero más comida asiática que otra cosa ni leche ponían ..los empleados eran amables y la zona muy tranquila pero como mucho ese hotel tendrá un par de estrellas... Caro para lo que es. No repetiria en este lugar.. vimos otros huéspedes discutir con la recepcionista...

Beautiful views of Halong Bay and the city below. Huge windows, spacious rooms.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The neighborhood was pretty peaceful.
The pool and gym were a bit underwhelming and had a funny smell. Also the pool closed at 9, which was too early for us. The breakfast wasn't really worth it. Hot dogs referred to as "sausage." Undercooked bacon. Stale cereal. The Vietnamese dishes were better, like the bánh cuốn.
Also, it's pretty far from the main tourist hub. You'll need to take a 15 minute taxi to get to the main tourist areas.

I spent a lot of time on Booking,com finding a hotel with sensational views of the bay. This had good views…… but I was disappointed. It was ok. Whole place is a bit tired. Rooftop bar and restaurant shut. Covid they say.

The location was good. A lot of local restaurants and a small shopping street right outside. The employees were very friendly and helpful. When we checked out earlier than planned, the hotel manager gave us a refund without us asking for it, even though they technically didn't have to. This was very good.
The hotel didn't have water in their swimming pool. The restaurant was closed. The fitness room had no properly functioning equipment. The room was not as clean as could be expected, but luckily not terrible. There were renovation work taking place in several places in the hotel. All of this was not informed of when we booked our stay, the pictures and information on the website portrayed something different from what we got.

We couldn't access the gym or the pool, our room was huge but didn't have a lot in it, there was no free water like at other hotels

The rooms were very large, and the view from the hotel rooms were great. The staff were also super friendly and helpful, and gave decent recommendations for food.
The first room smelled of cigarettes, however, they did move us, and the facilities were disappointing. The pool didn't have any towels, which I found odd, and the gym was tiny. The restaurants and bars in the hotel also weren't open.

the view from our room was perfect. the swimming pool was very refreshing. the staff are super helpful and friendly.

Beautiful view of the hill next door, the city and the see a bit further (but still a great part of an excellent view)
The discounted price was unbelievably low, but even the full price is good and worth it in my opinion
The hotel rooms start from the 16th floor, so nice views are guaranteed
Nice clean pool (but just one water level 1,5m, not young kid friendly, life buoys are available though)
The fridge works even when you leave the room and other electricity is off (some people don't think about this, but that's great if you need to leave something in the fridge for whatever reason, many hotels just turn off all the electricity)
Only one armchair in the room (couldn't sit in two people, a little annoyance...)
There could be lawn chairs at the balcony
The BIGGEST issue was that the carpet was a little messy, I guess their vacuum cleaner was broken... if this wasn't an issue, I would have happily given a 10/10. People sensitive to small details when it comes to cleanliness might wanna check other places, but I'm sure they will get a new vacuum cleaner eventually
