It was terrible. I had booked for 21 nights and i had to change my room thrice due to leakage in Bathrooms and Leakage due to rains.

Older hotel downtown close to area of many restaurants and shopping

Lovely property. However, even though I specifically requested a mobility accessible room when booking, I was told there were none available and even told that I hadn’t requested one. Also, we were on the 10th floor and still woke up several times due to extremely noisy street traffic.

My room was on the 27th floor and I loved it. I wish I'd known silver that only two of the four elevators reach that for though. I had to account for the extra wait time when deciding what time to leave, but other than that I loved my space.
Downtown was super busy at the time that I stayed, which was great because it felt so lively and there was always something to do. The hotel is perfectly located for you to explore different cuisines in the area.

The lobby was beautiful. The rooms were ok. They was a cricket in the light in our restroom. Checking in was extremely frustrating because there was a parade going on and the roads were blocked. We were not told and had to park in a parking garage 10 minutes away and had to walk with our luggage. The parade went on for 2 and a half hours and it was quite frustrating. When I called the hotel they said if I parked in the parking garage it would be validated. However when we got to the front desk they said they had no idea what we were talking about and couldn’t validate it. The room did its “job” the beds were ok but I won’t ever stay there again. The lack of communication really made this stay frustrating.

The check-in was rude. The valet was horrible. Didn’t offer to assist with unloading or loading. Had to take cart up myself, despite asking for help.

We were updated to a suite at no extra charge. Room was as big as an apartment. Beautiful views out 2 directions of downtown Dallas. A bit noisy at times. Highly recommend valet parking as there is none nearby.

All night the plumbing kept gurgling not sure what the issue was and the shower didn't work properly. The A/C needs some work it was hot all night.

Good location. Room was dark and gloomy. Ceiling was dripping water on the toilet, so you got dripped on while you used the restroom. Tiniest pillows for some odd reason.

Nice enough hotel. Well situated for Dallas sites & close to AT&T Plaza for bars & restaurants. Breakfast was not included but available in an independent coffee outlet adjoining.

Everything was great, check in was very easy. The room was pretty hot though even though we had the ac on a low temperature.

We had a really great stay! This is an older hotel with a little wear and tear but was perfect for us. The room was clean and I personally loved the garden tub!
All employees were very nice and friendly. I would definitely stay there again!

Stay was pleasurable. I was able to take care of my affairs. Only downside was making changes to my booking and losing $150.+ will definitely wait until I’m positive about arrangements.

A/c wasn’t working up to par. We were incredibly hot the whole time. Kept the blinds closed the whole time to help with the heat. There for three nights. Asked for our room to be cleaned and it never was. Lots of homeless around the property.

The Staff is excellent, inviting, and accommodating. The issue is that the property is a bit run down at this stage in its life and is in dire need of refurbishment...The location is excellent, and the historical vibe is fantastic...But the rooms were so creepy that I barely slept that night!...It's almost like a real-life Haunted Mansion...lol...

Place was really nice. Very aesthetically pleasing and could feel the history. Really clean and comfortable. My only complaint was getting charged an additional $300 for the safety deposit even though I already paid for it when I checked in. Really limited what I was able to do and had planned to do during my stay.

We have stayed at The Magnolia 3 times now. The building is beautiful. The staff is always friendly. I love their pillows. We stayed one night and I managed to take not one, but two, hour long baths in that huge tub.
Only problem is that it’s been 2 days since we checked out and I haven’t seen the deposit charge refund yet. If you don’t want to use valet, there’s a Neiman Marcus parking garage a bit past Pegasus Brewery on the right. It’s $20 for 24 hours. While you’re at it, go have a beer or a glass of wine at Pegasus. The building is a real art deco treat and the beer is great.

Rooms are nasty, beds are hard, sheets are dirty, plumbing sucks, all rooms have a horrible smell. Some light fixtures may work some don’t. This is the dustiest hotel I have ever been in. The worst. NOTHING LIKE WHAT is Pictured or LISTED IN THE DESCRIPTION. Save yourself and your money book at the Fairmont or Joule

Decent hotel for the price, but very annoying that there’s no internet in the bedrooms.
My room was nice and spacious, but the bed wasn’t super comfortable. The location is great and staff very friendly.
For the price, I’m not going to complain too much, the lack of internet wasn’t great during a work trip.

Hotel and Staff is Great! Parking the nightmare as it’s downtown and valet at hotel will cost ya quite a bit and only other option is to try and find the hidden garage parking lots. Full of homeless on the street especially at night as they sleep in the park across the street. No bar or restaurant but plenty within walking distance. The Staff do everything to make your stay comfortable.

The hotel is clean enough, but the rooms are quite dark, with no overhead lights. It was the middle of summer and the AC didn't work properly in the first room they provided and after looking at another 3, I chose one with working AC.
The hotel is old and in need of a refurb.

Very nice place. Only feedback that I have is that there is only on microwave on the 25th floor, not in rooms. When I went up to use it, there was a huge bug in the microwave.

This historic Hotel was entirely unable to provide internet to its rooms.
The rooms are well sized, but not very well provisioned considering the price. And the television in the room was tiny.
The staff was as helpful as could be under the circumstances, but we're handcuffed with the hotels inability to allow guests to even do work from their room.
In summary it was a very disappointing stay compared to excellent properties at a fracture of the price a 5-minute drive away outside of downtown.

The outside and lobby are beautiful. Once we got in our room it kinda smelled and wasn’t in the best condition. Housekeeping knocked at 9:00 when check out is 11:00. The staff was polite and valet was amazing 7/10

Everything about this hotel was very nice, only knock and it was a huge one, the AC was not working properly. It was not blowing cold air, I couldn’t even sleep in my bed, I had to sleep on the floor by the vent and was still sweating even in that area. I’d love to come back, but the AC has to be fixed

The hotel was spacious. We were I. A historic building that did not have a lot of modern updates, but was still nice. The air conditioning could have been cooler.

AC not working, i did reach out to front office but they didnt do anything, so if you like the texas summer heat and specially at night Do Not Stay here
I was expecting a lot better for the price well at least for the ac to work i dont think its too much to ask
