The man serving the breakfast was the best thing about my stay. Gracious and kind. Mosquitos in the room. Very little natural light in room. A bit depressing. Good location though.

It was ok, the rooms were not in great condition, they need to be renewed or refreshed, specially the barhroom area. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.

The hotel is actually pretty nice inside, and the room and bathroom was nice. It's centrally-located, just a few blocks from the Malecon (ocean boulevard) in the old city, and this is the problem....the noise! The street that it's on, Beller, is somewhat of a secondary thoroughfare, linking the historic district from the boulevard. My room was on the 2nd-floor, next to this street, and it was a LOUD! I didn't sleep more than 1-2 restless hours, with my phone turned on high to rain noise! Besides the location of the room itself, the window was of little use to stop the noise (with a big gap), and it was like (trying) sleeping on a scaffold with the cars and motos passing underneath. This went on steadily until after 3:00 in the morning, and then resumed at full speed around 6:30-7:00 Sunday morning. If you've never been in the D.R., almost every road is a racetrack, and the young kids like to make their motos as loud as possible, incessantly toot their horns at intersections (or any other slight inconvenience), and ride like idiots, speeding through the streets! The hotel itself was actually nice....if you can sleep through an earthquake, combined with a hurricane! I know that I won't be back, and I will warn anybody that might think of staying (without earplugs)....do not let them give you rooms #2,3,4,5 on the 2nd-floor, or any room on the street-side (Beller).....it might have been a nightmare, if I'd actually slept!

I had an issue with our room due to recent rain downpours and they were kind enough to move us without hesitation. One of the highlights of my stay was the culinary experience at Dynasty Hotel. One of the standout features of Dynasty Hotel is its prime location.

A disastrous accommodation... There is no hot water with a lot of mosquitoes in the room... Also, with a strong smell of anti-insect spray… I have killed at least 20ish mosquitoes since I checked in… From the wall of the room, you can see a lot of of dead mosquito bodies... When we requested a change of room, the staff said no room and just gave us a bottle of anti-insect spray... I will definitely never recommend this accommodation to anyone…

I could not get cable tv to work, something wrong with remote control !

Checking in was very easy staff was very helpful, the property is very clean. Area was very safe.

Nice little hotel in downtown, convenient location, walking distance to malecón and el anfiteatro. Service was good at front desk and the rooftop bar/restaurant.

Location is close to many tourist attractions and the beach. There is a nice bar on site, however it is on the expensive side. Parking is tight and hard to find.

Could not sleep due to the noise in the bar upstairs. Booked for 3 nights,paid cash. Big mistake,lost my time and money. Left the following morning. Would not recommend.

We booked this hotel due to a YouTube influencer. I wished I had stay somewhere else. We had too many issues: hole in the wall next to AC, mosquitoes in room, towel had a huge hole, walls where very scratched, step to bathroom is a liability, humidity container on top of vanity was very visible, cracked tile in bathtub, music at night was too loud. Brenda’s service was great.

I enjoyed the views of the mountains and also it wasn’t far from a walk to the local park or the malecon .Now on the other end of the spectrum , some updates can be made to a few things!, With that being said I would stay here again !!

It was great and so up-to-date. Even the menu for the rooftop restaurant is not printed - but accessible on phone by using QR Code which is at every table and in every room. Unfortunately, in Spanish only - they do need an English translation! The rooftop restaurant has a good selection and a bar with a wide selection of drink including premium brands. The restaurant has extended hours from early to very late at night and offers room service. The room was spacious and had everything I needed. Lighting was excellent - far better than most places. Nice work area for a laptop. The fridge was handy and very cold. The bathroom was really good and one of the best showers I've seen in many travels. Everything was squeaky clean. I speak a little Spanish and that helped me get by - along with Google Translate on my phone. The only downside for me was the lack of elevator. My room was 2nd floor, but it seemed like they had extra steps to get there :-) Then the restaurant was another set of steps up to the roof. For an old man the steps were no blessing - for someone a bit younger they shouldn't even be an afterthought. The location is great and easy walking distance to almost everything.

The hotel is in a great location and is reasonably priced. The beds are also very comfortable. Unfortunately the windows do not close fully and the street is very noisy, and there is a bar attached to the hotel that plays loud music very late.
