The Inn was quite nice. We liked that it was two blocks to the beach and close to downtown. We were a little surprised that there was no air conditioning.

Super cozy! I felt like i was back at my grandparents beautiful home back in Massachusetts... it was so nice, and an amazing Bistro Dini's is down two blocks at the end of the street in walking distance perfect stay thanks for everything!

This property is a gem.
It is very nice, safe, and quiet at night. We slept wth our windows open and the temperature was perfect.
The only caveat is it is not far from the train track (which is true of the sll of the beach towns in this part of CA), so if you leave your windows open, you will hear the trains.
This however is also a feature due to it is easily walkable from the coastal express train.
Restaurants, 7 eleven, and the beach are all within a 2-5 minute walk.
I give it 5 stars.

In Expedia, it was advertised as a Bed & Breakfast. There is no breakfast and the price of staying there (vs. the poor conditions) is way too high. Avoid going on the roof to the lounging area- rusted out chairs at the small table are unsafe and rusted out main table is unsanitary. Peeling paint in the bathroom was gross. The best experience is the proximity to the beach. It must have been an amazing place at one time, now, it has been left without necessary repairs & updates which an older place needs to be welcoming.

Upon arrival, we talked to the gentleman who was cleaning the rooms and ours was ready to go so he gave us a key and let us move in even though it was 11 o’clock in the morning. They have a stack of beach chairs and beach towels for use so We made our way down to the beautiful beach and enjoyed our afternoon.

Very quaint and welcoming, yet clean and neat. Bed was very comfortable, and check in and out was. Breeze. Location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, many shops, restaurants and coffee shops. There was even a nightstand size fan we were able to use to help me sleep, I had forgotten my own fan and was so thankful they had one in thr closet in the room.

Nice room, delightful back yard with portable fire pit for burning wood, beautiful plants including a lemon tree, covered table and seating…a perfect place to have your morning coffee, which is provided. Best of all, it’s less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and a walkable distance from Carlsbad village shops, restaurants, and bars. Very convenient location!

We absolutely loved this quaint bed and breakfast type stay. The room was adorable. The location is so close to the beach. The rooftop patio was delightful. We also enjoyed the provided beach chairs.
We are already looking at another stay in a couple of months. Thank you!

Stayed in the Laguna room. Very nice and cozy. Fire place was romantic. Bed was a little creaky. But their is a nice chase lounge in corner. More stable and quiet.

Great location. Property is clean . We had the Capistrano room and it was comfortable. Just 2 blocks from the ocean, the boardwalk and Dini’s Seafood Restaurant. Fun watching the surfers. Simple accommodations.

I like the online booking to getting a code to my assigned room. The property manager is available via text which worked great. Very smooth. loved the vintage furnishings.

What a wonderful hidden gem. We loved our stay! The big bed, antique furniture and rooftop area are 3 of my favorite amenities! It was quiet, close to beach and restaurants! Oh I just loved it! Can’t wait to come back!!

All around great place to stay in Carlsbad. Wonderful facility, comfortable rooms, friendly staff and other visitors. We would definitely stay there again.

There was no air conditioning, the only ventilation was a window fan that didn’t work when you closed the blinds to darken the room. We found a fan in the cabinet trying to keep the air circulating but the fan sounded like it was coming apart. The ceiling fan only had one speed and it was slow.There was only a bottom sheet on the bed with a down comforter on top. This was a ground floor room so you had to close the blinds to have any privacy at all since the parking lot was right outside the window.

We booked this last minute as a one-night stay over on a trip south. It exceeded our expectations x10! Contactless check-in was a breeze. Our room was massive and the bed was extremely comfortable. Overall a cute, romantic place that I would highly recommend.
