Thanking the owner so much for everything, house is so well maintained and very cozy you feel like you are home

The property is nice with a pool, large bedrooms and kitchen, and 4 bathrooms. It was great for 6 adults and would be for a family. I think more seating in the living room would be helpful as there is only the couch. If you have more than 2 cars it can be a problem as you are on a main road. We had a great stay and enjoyed the house and Galveston. Russell was easy to contact and addressed any needs quickly. I highly recommend this house and host.

Loved the stay everything was great n good location

We had 9 in our group and chose property and size. We walked in and there was a strange odor in the house. We were willing to overlook this. After completing unloading all of our luggage, my daughter and niece came down from one of the bedrooms with fleas crawling all over their feet. I contacted VRBO and within an hour the property owner contacted us with a different property. We were impressed we were given a different location so quickly. We did send pictures showing the fleas we had captured and put in a plastic bag. Our new location was only 3 bedroom and 2 bathrooms so much smaller than the 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms of the original property and was much further away from the historical distract but we made the best of it. Upon returning from our cruise I texted the property owners to ask for a fair refund for the smaller rental and inconvenience. I have waited over a week and still not heard from them.

We had originally booked a home off of Broadway in Galveston so we could be close to the Strand for Mardi Gras festivities but a few days prior to our stay we were informed that there was a mechanical problem with that property and asked if we would mind changing to another house that was managed by the BeachBox group. We agreed to the replacement and it was an upgrade from the price of the original house that we booked even though the location was a ways down the island towards Jamaica beach. We checked in and the house was fantastic and everything was going good until we woke up the first morning to find that the Heat on the first floor wasn’t working and it was about 50 degrees in the house. Long story short, we contacted the property manager and he was able to dispatch a maintenance man out who replaced a faulty thermostat. The rest of our trip was fantastic. I guess the reason I am writing this is because we had several bad things happen on our little vacation, but Russell worked with us to make sure that we were taken Care of and we still have a great time. I think a lot of people would have complained about how their vacation was ruined by unexpected issues and would have drooled over the opportunity to write a scathing review about something out of anyone’s control.Thank you Russell for helping make our trip memorable. No complaints about the house. Very clean and plenty of room for everyone. Only issue was the leaky coffee pot, we ran through quite a few paper towels cleaning up after it.

A cute little place, spread out, slept a lot and the added game/bunk room was a nice touch to kill some time!! Overall our stay was short, but perfect place to crash!! No complaints at all!!

We stayed overnight here before our cruise out of Galveston Port. None of us had ever been to Galveston, and I can't say we were impressed with the area - at least the area the house was in. But the biggest issue we had - was a big HUGE one: The backdoor to the house has a glass paned door. One of the panes right above the lock, had no glass and had been duct-taped with some cardboard- It appeared as though someone had broken into the place! Right before I starting writing this review, I took a look back at the listing/previous reviews, and I realized the broken door had been an issue for another guest back in OCTOBER! Our group was so uncomfortable with the lack of security, they would not sleep downstairs (right next to that door), and they made sure there was a barricade against it before going to bed. Bottom line is- I would 100% find out if they've fixed or plan to ever fix/replace the door, before considering staying there. The only other thing I noticed that I would say needed addressing is the downstairs master bathroom's shower was a literally a trickle of water. We did order take out from Mario's and had great pizza!

We enjoyed staying at this place. Only one problem is this house just close to signal, there is only one parking spot in front. Overall the stay at this place is good for group to stay.

Super close to the cruise port. Fit everyone comfortably. Beautiful house with so much room!! We will definitely stay there again!

Home was exactly as listed. Communication was also great and responsiveness was very quick. Beautiful Galveston overnight stay!

Overall it was great. When I arrived at 4:00 check in time, I had to wait about 15 minutes to get the code to the house from owner. Also, the back window was broken and covered with cardboard and duct tape and glass was all over the back porch. We did not feel safe because someone tried to break in. Someone could have ripped off the cardboard off and just walked into the house while we were there. Also, when you walk around bare foot in the house, your feet are black on the bottoms. The game room was great for kids but the large video games were not attached to the wall. That is a hazard for small children.

Everything was as pictured, great communication with the host as well.

We had a great time at the property. Couple of small issues but nothing major at all. I always inspect and report any damages prior to anyone getting in to rooms I am a past landlord and take care of others property. Had a great time here

Check in was extremely easy ! The home was very large to accommodate my growing friend group and we loved every moment of our visit.

It was very spacious and cozy for all of us on our family vacation. The property manager was very responsive to one of our requests and took care of it right away. It is very well decorated and our kids loved the space because of the game room and bunk beds. We made some wonderful memories. Thank you for taking care of us on our trip. Would book again

My group and I rented this property and it's sister property right next door for our trip to Galveston. We had a larger group and it was difficult to find accommodations for all of us, until we found these properties. We are all so grateful we did! Being able to walk directly from one house to another was incredibly convenient, and the proximity of the homes to local restaurants and bars was awesome. There is also a nice sort of conjoined back area between the homes that we could meet up at and hang out. These homes were perfect for us and we had an absolute blast!

This rental property was super close to some awesome restaurants and things to do. We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. The home was clean upon arrival and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. This place was perfect for exploring the area by foot. Highly recommended!

This beach house is fantastic! Everything was spotless, and the house is HUGE. Great for a big group or big family. Our group was in town for a charity event. The event lasted all day, and included an 8 mile island hike. Everyone complimented how amazingly comfortable the mattresses are! Book this place!!
