The apartment was exceptionally clean and well maintained. It is very spacious and well furnished, the only thing that would have helped would have been a bigger friidge and freezer. The location cannot be beaten and the onsite parking a real bonus We strongly recommend a stay.

Great property for a family with two teenagers. Wonderful view from the windows and amazing location. We even managed to park and charge our EV from the window. Top notch.

We are frequent visitors to Chester and have stayed in many hotels and several other apartments in the city. However, the River House apartment is something special. It is spacious, tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. The views over the river and suspension bridge are wonderful. It is ideally situated for a stroll around the groves, is just at the entrance to the park and a short walk to the ampitheatre, shops, bars and restaurants. Parking is an added bonus. I spoke with the owner, Melanie, by phone - she could not be more helpful. I have no hesitation is giving the property a five star rating and look forward to a return visit.

The apartment was even better than the pictures. Very clean, beautifully decorated, fantastic location. We had a family weekend here and loved it so much we are considering booking again next year. Melanie the owner added little touches, bread, milk, butter, fresh flowers and much more

Fantastic spacious appartment overlooking the river and only a few minutes walk into town. The apartment was immaculately clean & extremely well equipped. We couldn't have wished for a lovelier place to stay. Would definitely recommend it!!

The location is excellent and the apartment is well equipped and well furnished. There are many good restaurants in walking distance and many interesting and historic sites to see. A carol service in Chester Cathedral was extra special.

Our party of six ladies celebrating a special birthday were delighted with the layout of the apartment which had a very inclusive feel. Wonderfully comfy beds and well appointed bathrooms. Stunning location overlooking life on the river- peaceful, beautiful and interesting. Lovely short walk into city centre, just the perfect place. Brilliant location and facilities for our family gathering. The host was very helpful in advance. Parking was the only tricky thing as my elderly parents found that difficult. Lovely views from the apartment and we were spoilt with the great weather!

Lovely weekend with the girls for birthday celebrations and shopping. Perfect location to walk into town. The apartment was clean, stylish and very comfortable - would definitely go back again. Access was a little confusing but no problem once identified. Stunning setting next to the River.

We rented from 17th to 21 July 2016. Wonderful location next to the river in Chester. The property was as described and in great decorative order. Handy for the city centre and many nice pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Our host Melanie was always available to answer any questions and made our stay that more ejoyable. Will hopefully be back some day soon.

We spent two nights at The Riverside Apartment in Mid-October with our two children—aged 1 and 4—and their grandma. The owner, Melanie, had set-up the apartment for us thoughtfully and immaculately; there was not a stone left unturned. Finding the apartment was easy with the directions sent in the welcome pack and parking was off the road and safe. The location was ideal, being right next to the River Dee and the park and just a couple of minutes walk through Roman Gardens into the City centre. The most striking and memorable thing about the apartment was the living area. It was great to wake up, make a drink and a piece of toast—with the supplies from the hamper left for us—and just sit back on the massive, plush corner sofa watching the Sunday morning cyclists cross the bridge over the river and the rowing boats race down towards the weir. The bedrooms are stunning too; all 3 are decorated imaginatively, have huge cosy beds, lots of storage space in traditional wardrobes and chests—and still had plenty of space for the travel cot provided. The bathrooms are modern and spotless; the hallway has space for all of your coats and shoes and there is a laundry room for good measure—this place really is the complete package. If you want to explore the sights and sounds of Chester, whilst having a tranquil base to retreat to at the end of the day; look no further than The Riverside Apartments.
