Our family was in Louisville for Nationals gymnastics for a granddaughter. This house was located so conveniently it was perfect. It accommodated the whole family of 8 very comfortably. I would highly recommend this property.

Payne Street Paddock was very comfortable for the five of us. The house was very clean with comfortable beds and furniture. It is equipped with everything you will need to settle in as if you were at home. It is well-located in a quiet neighborhood but close everywhere. The communication with James was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

House was as advertised and easy check in. No problems during stay. Close to our family nearby and enjoyed being able to gather with others staying around the neighborhood. Host communicated and I'm sure was available had we had any problems. Thanks for hosting us.

This lovely 100 year old home was beautifully restored, the host was super responsive, the house was clean, they provided snacks too and extra necessities (soap, laundry, TP, shampoo etc). The house temperature is regulated with wall units up stairs, so that was nice to be able to set your own temperature. The floors downstairs do not have a sub floor beneath them, it does make the floor in the master sitting area quite cold as it hangs out over yard, but the host does let you set the temperature in the house, so we were very comfortable. I am not sure what the effect would be in the summer months, but that wouldn't deter us from renting again. The location is super close to downtown, only 8 minutes away, so was convenient to downtown. We would definitely rent again.

Just wrapped up a stay at the property with a group of friends. House was great and had everything we needed. Walking distance to great restaurants. Communication with James was outstanding and helped us with our bourbon hunt. Definitely recommend!

We stayed here visit local breweries and distilleries. This was a great location for visiting both, with lots of local restaurants as well.

The host was easy to communicate with, and the house was exactly as listed. Perfect for the four of us traveling to have our own bedroom and space to unwind. The back yard was awesome for evening gatherings, and the location of the house made it easy to get downtown as well as to and from the airport!

We stayed for a full weekend and loved this home! The property was fully renovated, beautifully appointed and stocked with not only all the necessary linens but so many wonderful and thoughtful extras! The bathrooms have luxurious extras including lotions, scented facial wipes and upscale toiletries. Plenty of extra towels stocked and kitchen had all the necessities for dishwashing and trash disposal. It was so nice not to have to make a trip to the store for all these items!! Thank you for making us feel so welcome and right at home!! Location is prime—10 minute drive to nearly all major tourist destinations and adjacent to great neighborhoods like Cresent Hill, Nulu and Butchertown. Nice quiet street, great for a family/friend getaway. Highly recommend this property and host James!

Great property, modern renovations with historical charm. More important than that - the bed was very comfortable and the host thought of everything. All of our needs were met, we didn’t need to bring anything but our clothes - they even had some snacks the kids enjoyed. Great trip! Great host! Great home!

My family enjoyed the property during our stay! Loved the fire pit. We did find the house could get very warm due to little insulation, but this isn’t uncommon for an older home. Overall a great stay!

The house was great for our weekend adult getaway. Slept four couples very comfortably. House was clean, modern and would stay here again. So close to Nulu which was a great area to visit.

Our family (two adults, 10 year old, and 12 year old) enjoyed staying at the Payne Paddock. We had everything we needed and communication with James was quick and easy. We loved having the backyard to hangout!
