Lovely country house hotel with nice view. We enjoyed our stay.

It was a delightful stay, the people are very friendly and very helpful. The food is delicious. If I had been staying with a friend I would have played croquet in the beautiful gardens.

Calm, old fashioned luxury. Sad that there were not more people there. How does it survive? Very nice to be able to use the swimming pool at the Golf Course. They should make more of this in their publicity.

This is a lovely Country House Hotel and one we stay in when visiting family in the area. We have also had family occasions here and every time it could not be better. In fact we would rather move our family event if this hotel not available rather than stay elsewhere. The staff, hotel and setting is just perfect.!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay especially the food. Also the views from the windows were superb.

Lovely historical hotel but it is tired. Needs refreshing, few weeds in courtyard on way to room as an example. Deathly quiet in drawing room before dinner. Could do with some elegant music.

Great hotel close to Glyndebourne! Will return next time.

Overall we had a pleasant one night stay at Horsted Place Hotel. Just a couple of little niggles which were a little annoying. The pillows are terrible - like sleeping on rocks - very uncomfortable. The radiators in our bedroom and bathroom didn't work, and as the mornings and evenings are rather chilly at the moment, that wasn't good - very cold in the bathroom. Tea making facilities aren't provided in the room, but they will provide a tray including kettle if you ask. This seems a bit mad - why not just provide it in the first place and then you can decide if you want to use it. It is a lovely hotel in beautiful grounds, but for the price you are paying, I think that these small improvements could be made.

Attended a Golden Wedding celebration so stayed the night. The wedding celebration was expertly handled by the staff and the food was excellent. A very successful venue.

The hotel was perfect for a calm stay with the most beautiful immense grounds. The food is excellent and pricing a pleasant surprise. Our room was calming, and the whole place is full of character.

Staying at this hotel was a truly luxurious experience. The staff were very friendly and attentive and responded quickly and efficiently to all our requests. The Windsor Suite, as used by the Queen and Prince Phillip when the building was a private house, was extremely comfortable and spacious with amazing views of the grounds.

Lovely location in the Sussex countryside. We were well looked after by the delightful staff.

It was a joy driving up towards the hitel. Lovely setting and a beautufil building which has been well maintained and kept in its orginal condition. Staff are very friendly , welcoming and very attentitive. The inclusive breakfast was very satisfying. Thoroughly recommend this hotel for any reason!
