Superb place to stay. Really comfortable bed and huge fluffy towels. Milk and Prosecco in the fridge on arrival.

I was expecting an iron and ironing facilities as stated during the booking process but if they were there they were too well hidden to be found. A hairdryer wouldn't have gone amiss either.

A beautiful place on a lovely working farm. The host Anna was fantastic, the property was beautiful and absolutely spotless!

Barn Owl's Nest is a cosy, warm, comfortable and beautiful studio on a farm. We arranged an approximate arrival time with our hosts in advance and they were there to meet us with the keys. Everything was perfect. We felt so welcomed and our hosts made sure we knew to ask if we needed anything (we didn't!) The space is perfect for two people, with kitchen facilities, a wood burning stove, comfortable bed and sofa and large TV. The bathroom has a lovely rainfall shower and nice toiletries. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and it's very easy to drive into Sheffield, Chesterfield, and Bakewell, and is close to the Chatsworth Estate. We will definitely stay again the next time we are in the Peaks! Thanks so much, we loved it!

Literally nothing - it was perfect!

Ideal if you want to explore the area, or like us, visit relatives in Sheffield. No noisy wedding parties or party goers as can happen in a hotel. No struggle to park, but a rural location convenient for larger conurbations. The ability to self cater. You control the heating and the basics for catering are there on arrival. The decor was delightful as was our charming hostess.

A handy, but out of town very quiet location. Everything is brand new and a very high standard. A wonderful facility which we have really enjoyed, thank you.

Lovely location with very easy access to the part of Sheffield that I needed to visit.

Lovely peaceful location, very close to Sheffield city. Easy access to bus, trains and supermarket. On main road out of town for taxis. Part of a working stables, so horses are you neighbours!

A small designated outside sitting area would have topped it. Can't pick fault with anything else. Fantastic facilities and lovely hosts
