I would recommend staying here if it is not your first time to Seoul. It takes a good chunk of time to get back from the main tourist sites. You are not far from the Main Street of Hongdae. The room was a good size. The only drawback was the bed makes a noise whenever you move. There is only an all in one shampoo/body wash so bring hand soap and clothes hooks to make the stay easier. I found the clothes hangers were up a bit high for me so the hooks helped. The communal area is well organised and convenient.

It is not just suitable for visitors to stay under any circumstance for the price or atmosphere.

I enjoyed the area it was in and lots of things to do.

While the hotel was situated in a great spot for exploring Seoul, the hotel lacked very basic amenities that I would think any hotel should have. We paid for a deluxe double room (so not a standard) and our double bed was shoved into a corner behind a concrete pole. It was not suitable for 2 people as the person on the inside is unable to get out of the bed without disturbing their partner. The blinds were super cheap and did not keep out any light. The main issue, however, was the lack of bath towels. You are given 2 hand towels only which are not suitable for a hotel as it is nearly impossible to dry yourself after a shower. You are able to collect more of these downstairs without any issue, but what kind of hotel does not offer full size bath towels? In addition, when showering the bathroom gets absolutely soaked and since you’re only given 2 hand towels, there was no bath mat to put down to ensure you didn’t slip and fall. The room did not have a TV, which isn’t a huge deal for us but should be noted. The hotel was very clean and modern. Do not recommend if you’re looking to have a comfortable experience.

It's a good location and nice area. Staff overall was pretty good. I thought the room itself was disappointing. It didn't seem soundproof whatsoever, no bath towels or shower curtain, T.V. or maid service without extra charge. Pretty much a bare bones dorm room being advertised as a hotel. Left 2 days early with no refund due to noise level

Good neighborhood and close to hongdae but not as loud so this was perfect.

No AC, the AC control panel is deceiving. I am lucky that I arrived Korea around April, it is cool outside. The air circulation is very bad. I have to open the window all night to cool down the room and make the air smell clean. Staff is very friendly. But a lot of the hotel details needs fine tuning. It is just OK but not great. No room service if stay here less than 7 days.

Localstitch is effectively like a university dorm with a study area, shared kitchen facility and a gym. you see uni students there who may be in this facility as it's close to university. Positives: 1. The room was clean when I checked in. Had a bathroom, a study desk and a bed. 2. Great view of the city and has privacy 3. Air conditioned and I believe there is also a floor heating. 4. There is a coin-operated washing machine and a clothes dryer in B1. Negatives: 1. I was offered a room which has accessibility features. This posed a serious problem for me because there is no segregation between the shower and the toilet. When I have a shower, the wand is actually facing the toilet and it floods the entire bathroom. The drain is on the other side of the bathroom behind the toilet. I get that that this is for people with accessibility requirements on people on wheelchairs but it has caused a lot of inconveniences to try and access the toilet when the floor is already wet from my time showering. 2. Only offers towels that are the size of handtowels for drying. Thankfully I brought my own towel.

This was my first time staying at a co-working space—concept hotel and I will definitely be coming back! The location itself is very easy to find and convenient (about a 10 minute walk to the station). Lobby gives off very relaxing and cozy vibes which I love, and self-check in and check out is also available. On some days, there will also be small market stands selling handmade goodies and fresh produce in the courtyard! There's also a 7/11 right by the corner and plenty of cafes to explore around the area. Hotel facilities were clean, room prices were super affordable and the staff are very friendly :) Can't wait to come back! ❤️❤️

I checked in after hours so I had to check in via a kiosk which was okay and easy but our room had no towels, no information on wifi, and the AC would not turn on. I wasn’t sure how to reach out to them which was unfortunate. The room was spacious otherwise and good location.

Had an amazing stay here. Super close to the main Hongdae area but far enough away where it’s quiet at night. Stayed at the end of winter and the room/hallway was always warm so very pleasant. The people working were very helpful and nice. I also always felt safe inside the hotel and outside. Would def recommend to 20yr old travellers.

This is an awesome and cool boutique hotel within walking distance of the hustle and bustle of Hongdae neighbourhood. The check-in and check-out are made very smooth by the high tech front desk. There is even a coffee machine robot! The best part of this hotel for me was its access to Hongdae, which is just a 10 minute walk away, yet the surrounding area is nice and quiet compared to Hongdae. This is a great option for anyone staying in Seoul, even if just for a layover. It is a short walk to the airport railroad!

Had a great stay as always! This is one of the best hotels in Seoul as far as I am concerned. Its always very clean, quiet and with great facilities such as lounge areas, shared kitchen, gym and laundrymat. The staff is very kind and always help solve any and all issues. I been staying here pretty much every time I needed a room and its always been great! Highly recommend it!

Wish there is a way to open window / natural ventilation during winter, as the central heater was too hot for sleeping; But still able to resolve by turn off all the heater and fans and let the room naturally cool down;

It felt like such a great place for travelers, esp those visiting from other countries. Quick & easy check in/ out and staff was so friendly and accessible. Definitely would book again!

i had a wonderful stay - the place was about a 10 min walk from the nearest train station and other touristy streets in hongdae. room was clean and in great condition, staff was nice and i had no issues checking in and out. wifi speed was great too. i guess one thing that might come as a surprise is that they do not provide toiletries except for a 3-in-1 shampoo/wash liquid, but there is a nearby convenience store.

Perfect location if you would like to stay in/near Hongdae, as it’s just a ~5-10min walk from Mangwon station and has a denser collection of nearby cafes and good restaurants than I’ve seen almost anywhere else. The lobby has a great, collaborative vibe of people working, studying, cooking, and doing laundry (as it’s connected to a coworking space on the 2nd floor). The room itself was clean, but missing a few key amenities, like a nightstand/shelf next to the bed and hand soap next to the sink, but was overall chic and well-designed. I look forward to the next time I travel to Seoul and can stay at the hotel.

Great for travelling alone! Love the style of the hotel, it’s very neat and comfortable! The room might be a bit small for 2 people though.. Around 10-15 mins walk from the metro station. I have enjoyed my stay overall:)
