Our youth group from our church stayed the night on a two day trip to Charlotte. The location was great and easy to get to things. The house is amazing!! The owners were very helpful and great at communicating!

This property is such a gem and we enjoyed every bit of it, from the scenery to the home itself. We had no issues and any questions we had Lee was on it and responded immediately. She made us feel welcomed and most importantly comfortable. It was relaxing, spacious and private. We plan on renting it out in the future. One of the best and most memorable moments we had with family and friend were here, and we are forever grateful!

We had a fantastic experience at this property! It was beautiful inside as well as the outside and had everything we needed! If there was something we needed, the owner was happy to help and I feel like she went far beyond to make us comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, kitchen utensils and even a whole spice drawer as well as Olive Oil! We were a large party of 12 College Disc Golfers and 2 parents, so 14 of us in total. We had plenty of beds, plus a roll-a-way, queen and twin self blow up mattresses as well as a double sofa bed in the living room. And with 4 bathrooms, it worked out perfectly! We used the fire pit several nights and the guys loved playing Corn Hole that was brought to the house. Everything was super clean! Communication was excellent, she got back with me right away and would touch base ever so often to make sure everything was going well. I look forward to going back again! We decided to look for the perfect spot for a guy’s retreat and a couple’s night with friends. We chose this location because of the number of bedrooms, firepit, big dining table, and hot tub - and we truly picked the PERFECT place!! The first night about 6 fellas linked up for cigars and a bourbon tasting and enjoyed the firepit throughout the evening after a catered dinner - it was an amazing spread and everyone loved the venue!! The 2nd night of our stay we invited several couples to come over to enjoy wine and dinner that we made at the house and it was a great vibe!! Everything we needed to host multiple people throughout the weekend was there and the owner even arranged a midday cleaning after the first night to ensure the place was tidy! One of the few places where the firepit is just right but also has an indoor fireplace that is warm and toasty! We will DEFINITELY stay again!!

A huge thank you to the host for her gracious hospitality. Water’s Edge was extremely cozy and was the perfect layout for hosting my event. In addition, the view of the lake was very soothing and refreshing. I especially appreciated the property having all the necessary equipment in the kitchen that I needed , which made our event seamless and stress free. That alone took a lot of worry and anxiety off of me. I will definitely return to Water’s Edge for future stays. I highly recommend this property for other groups that want to experience a luxurious getaway.

I rented the property to host my annual vision board event and it was absolutely magical space for me and 10 of my friends. Parking we great, the home was easy to find, and the views were divine. We will be back!

Beautiful! Clean! Modern home away from home! A must stay! The host Lee was responsive and nice! The area is private but still close to downtown and shopping. I would highly recommend you will not be disappointed

I had the pleasure of staying at Water’s Edge during a birthday celebration this year. The entire home is absolutely gorgeous and it is a stone’s throw from the heart of uptown Charlotte! This place is truly the best of both a luxury getaway and a time out on the town. From the expansive view of the lake to the designer interior decor, this was by far my most opulent stay this year. The home has plenty of space for very large families, which is exactly what my family needed, and the owner has clearly paid particular detail to each living space. Our children, who range in age from seven through fourteen, thoroughly enjoyed the large bunk bed room, which was equipped with a large television and four queen sized bunk beds, and each adult couple loved their individual private suites. The backyard, which backs up directly to the lake, includes a large patio, a hot tub, and an exceptionally large grill. There is plenty of room for outdoor activities for all ages, and you can literally fish from dusk til dawn. Take it from me, you do not want to miss out on booking Water’s Edge!
