This was our second stay at the Bedford Lodge. I can highly recommend. The only downside for myself was the mattress, which was incredibly soft.

Bed was far too soft so didn’t have a very good night sleep - felt left in the corner at breakfast had to keep asking to be seen - staff very disorganised and had to wait a long time

We had a terrific stay at the Bedford Lodge Hotel, it's a really beautiful property.
The room was spacious and modern, with easy and lot's of parking.
We ate in the restaurant in the evening and wasn't disappointed , great food and service. The breakfast was amazing, lot's of choice and lovely ingredients.
Would definitely recommend for a special stay.

It was a really nice stay with lots of positives, but there were a few little things which meant it didn’t really match up to the billing or alternatives of the same standard.
Great food, comfortable room, nice grounds, perfect location.
Just a combination of little things which let it down. No towels at the spa, had to take your room ones and take back wet, dressing gown for the spa, but no slippers so you’ve got damp trainers, staff friendly but a bit unsure on things, can I put this drink on my tab? Maybe, not sure, no, actually yes, can I have an invoice if my charges on check out, no, but I can send it to you later etc etc.
Little things but just took of the ‘premium shine’ compared to others in the same price bracket.
Overall though really enjoyable weekend.

Lovely hotel. Great amenities including swimming pool/gym.
Room was big and comfortable with all that you would need for a great stay, the fresh milk in the fridge was a welcome touch.
Bar service from was good, very knowledgeable & funny.
Lady on reception was also lovely, a credit to the hotel.

The hotel meets all that is expected of a 4 star establishment. Great building, dining and staff. The only was let down was the room, although comfortable and well stocked with quality amenities, it was small, in particular the bathroom.

Staff were very helpful. Hotel is very clean and smart. Facilities are excellent. Food was very good including a very nice breakfast. Would highly recommend.
