Quiet area for best rest

Check in was smooth and fast. The room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. And as a celiac there were even breakfast options I could eat!

The pictures on the website are not from this location. The Room needs a good clean Up, New fourniture and a New bathroom. There is no hot water for the shower and the rug needs a real good wash

comfy beds and quiet night

This property was clean but dated. The bathroom was small. The breakfast was fine but quite limited choices. The part I didn’t like was that it smelled like pine-sol and pancakes as you walked toward the lobby--unappealing!! It was weird knowing someone had been in our room to swap the towels and empty the garbage but the bed wasn't made and nothing was cleaned (counters/floors wiped). The price was good but probably wouldn't choose this hotel again.

We enjoyed our 2 day stay. The hotel staff were pleasant including the house keeping. Tho we had reserved a room with a sofa and 2 queen beds, they called and changed it to 2 king beds which was fine. Breakfast was sufficient and had variety. Thanks!

Close access to Highway 8 and only about 15 minutes drive to Waterloo University. Two main drawbacks - bathroom sink in room very slow to drain (partially clogged), more importantly the inn’s vehicle entrance (off King Street East) not very obvious to see by arriving drivers and could easily be missed. There should be better signage at the road entrance and with good lighting (there is no lighting now at all) to make the entrance noticeable to arriving vehicles. This is a safety issue as well. Decent free breakfast with diligent staff who cleans vacated tables promptly, which is nice. Decent parking facility. Will stay there again in future visits to Kitchener/Waterloo.

Room was very noisy when the AC is on. Notable traffic noise from outside.

Checked in at 2:30pm and went to my room. About 10 minutes later a staff member let themselves in to check the room, unaware that I had checked in. 2am someone tried to get into my room, I could hear them trying to us their key card. I asked what they were doing and they said they just checked in and were told this is their room. They had to go back to the front desk.

The room was clean and check in and out went very smoothly. The only concern I have is with the breakfast. There was a good selection but staff did not refill bread and milk often enough. Several times me and other guests had to ask to have it replenished.
