The layout of the property was interesting. After walking the long way to our room we discovered a shortcut from the breakfast area to our room. Breakfast was sumptuous, there were afternoon waffles and coffees. The location is in a residential area but the walk to downtown was short. Extensive shopping mall downtown.

Nice hotel out of the centre of town. Room was a good size with an excellent bed. Everything works well and the mandatory breakfast was excellent. Staff were very helpful.

But the bed thing was that the room rate not only included a generous breakfast, but also an evening buffet. While the food wasn't anything to write home about, the respite it provided against the eye-watering food prices in Norway was certainly welcome. The hotel is also next to an ancient Viking ceremonial site, which was a nice little surprise.
