We checked in to our room a little later in the evening, right when we stepped in the room it smelled like weed and the smell was worse in the bathroom than in the sleeping area. I went down to the lobby and told the worker on duty that night, he swore it was impossible that it would smell like that but declined my offer for him to come upstairs and smell for himself. I asked him if there was another room we could move into but he told me there wasn't but he came off as lazy so he probably didn't even check. All he offered was some air freshener and an insincere apology, because of him this review had to be written and we won't stay here again in the future. Additionally, minor things, there was still trash in the garbage can in the bathroom. When I went to get ice in the morning and couldn't find the machine I asked one of the maids, she couldn't speak english so she was of no help. It turned out that the ice machine was broken, again, minor stuff relative to the main issue. Regarding the smell, fortunately the window in the room opens so we were able to air it out a bit before bed. Since the smell was strongest in the bathroom near the vent it's possible that it came from another room in the hotel but as I said, the worker was lazy and shouldn't be working in customer service.

Ridiculous to charge $8 to park a car here.

Really terrible hotel! Even the air conditioner did not work! Everything including the breakfast the cheapest things! People working there and the management not nice! Just don’t trust the rating! It is not a good hotel!

One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was because they claimed that they provided an actual buffet breakfast. This was untrue. It was just a continental breakfast. I guess they thought they could say it was a breakfast because they had a waffle maker. The Wi-Fi connection was extremely sporadic, to say the least. I also think that parking should be included in the price of the room, NOT an additional charge.
