It is in the middle of Alicante which is quite conveniant.
On the other hand was the check-in procedure quite difficult/cumbersome - which let me eventualy go to the connected Hotel (2 blocks down the street, which worked fine).
Also the bed-couch wasn't cleaned which was not very nice, but very very quick resolved by the team -> this was a perfect response.
In all we quite liked our stay @Tandem Portal de Elche and would realy recommend it.

Lovely apartment
BUT apartment was a 5 miute walk from check-in at Mediterraneo hotel and when we got there we found the boys in the reception hadn't authorised our access code and we couldn't get in. Luckily there was a cleaner on site who rang reception for us and got us a valid code

Doorkey/kode changes and often did not work. Make the stay enoing, but it was Clean and Nice area to stay.

It was clean, comfortable, lovely and in the city center. Close to many facilities, shops, restaurants, beach, etc.
The only minus is that we went during the Easter and all the processions took place at midnight passing with loud music and crowd next to our window for few hours. If you like your night sleep or are with small kids you might want to avoid those dates with loud celebrations (or crowded city center).

Lovely apartments very central location handy for everything. The only downside is having to checkin at another property partulaely if you have bags or walking diffi umties. However the staff culd not have been better at the mediterreanan plaza helping me to find my phone as well.

Very nice apartment in downtown Alicante.
Continuous problems with access to the apartment. The key code stopped working several times. A new code was activated by the reception. The reception is 400 meters away so WhatsApp communication was needed. It did not make me feel safe.

Excellent studio apartment overlooking a busy square just 2 roads back from the esplanade. Big bathroom with hot shower, small kitchen but more than adequate to make tea and coffee and store my wine and orange juice!
The bed was so comfy and big with large tv on wall opposite letting us watch Netflix in bed.
Electronic lock to front door and door into the apartment meant I didn’t have to look after a key either.
One extra valued facility is the washing machine and dryer in the basement for guest use.

Lovely apartment- great as a base for a short break. However, be aware that it is in a busy part of the city so there will be some noise throughout the night. Earplugs will do the job.

Excellent location in Alicante town, near the esplanade and ideally located for most city sight seeing and restaurants. Very nice apartment and facilities. Many excellent restaurants and cafes around. Easy access to staff based at the Eurostars Mediterranea hotel via Whatsapp.

Very nice hotel. Great location. Super comfortable bed. Black out curtains really help with the sun light. Great room rate for the stay.
