It was a great stay and location. Walkable to many dining options! LD at the bar was amazing and personable! Enjoyed evening cocktails with her! She gave us so many great recommendations and even called restaurants for us!

Great location, very close to a lot of places to visit, a great view. The elevator was a bit uncomfortable and the hair dryer wasn’t good, compared to other hotels I stayed at in Italy (I couldn’t find a voltage converter for the one I bought from home).
But overall was a really good place to stay.

Hotel is in a high tourist area, but it’s not bad. Still pretty quiet and comfortable. The air conditioning went out at the hotel one of the days I was there so it was very hot and uncomfortable, especially since it was very hot outside. I would not suggest using the parking that they try to push on you because they do not communicate everything and did not tell me that the parking garage they are contracted with closes from midnight to 7:00am and my rental was stuck in the garage until the car rental company picked it up because they would not open it or let me get the car for my early morning flight. They will tell you that in case of emergency, there isn’t anything they can do and no solution. Use at your own risk.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. The room was fantastic and clean. The staff were awesome and the breakfast was well above average. I will definitely be staying there again

The stay at Palazzo Alfieri was excellent. The only thing that has stopped me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that the bathrooms seemed to have been designed by tall men for even taller people only.
The towel hooks were almost unreachable and the fixing for the shower head was probably above two metres so no chance of being able to shower without holding the shower head. Which in a hotel of this level and price range is somewhat disappointing. Equally the step into the bathtub/shower was so deep to make it almost unsafe when coming out of the shower. Besides that the room

Excellent location. This is a historic property, so several areas needed some work. There were a lot of construction workers in my building during weekdays. I imagine it will be nicer once everything gets fixed. My room had several moths, which I had to trap and take out of the room because I'm allergic. Still, the location is excellent and you can walk anywhere in the historic downtown area within minutes. The lobby area is nice and the property feels very safe. It has a nice private entrance and taxis can easily drop/pick you up.

Hotel has terrible WiFi connection. Despite staying in a suite room with views of the river and Ponte Vecchio, the WiFi connection is absolutely horrendous. You’ll be kicked off the WiFi every 2 minutes and when you try to reconnect their WiFi won’t even show up. If you need internet access even for minor browsing, let alone work, would recommend not staying at this hotel.

For the high price, I’d expect more. One day it rained heavily and our window leaked. The iron was broke upon arrival, and when I called for a replacement it never came. I spoke to the front desk attendant and asked for an iron a second time, it never came. The shower entrance was extremely small, and had to be entered sideways (and I’m skinny). There was water damage on the roof of the 3rd floor, peeling away and the floors need a deep clean. Overall this is not a 4 star hotel, 2.5 stars at most. You pay for the location. I heard other guests complaining about the shower too and the staff is dismissive and justified their poor accommodations vs fixing it. Will not be staying here again.

Great service!!! From when we dropped off our car with the private hotel valet to when we began our check in process.
Amenities were lacking, we didn’t have an iron in our room, lighting was super poor. The location was phenomenal and good for rest. My husband and I got married on Saturday at Santi Apostoli which was a 5 minute walk. However the price point felt like a lot for the state of the room we were in.
