My room was decent overall. A great view of the city! Hotel is comfortable but a bit dated. It could use some renovation. I wouldn't rule out staying here again.

Unfriendly receptionist, stuck inside elevator without a ventilation for 30 minutes. We were cursed out by the receptionist because we got stuck inside the elevator 😂 Small rooms . Not a 4 star Hotel. Total disappointment! Stay away!

The hotel is quite oldie I would say and it really needs a nice refurbish. At least it is clean, the location is special and the choice at the breakfast is quite wide comparing to 3 star hotel.

Needing a hotel the night before my flight back home, I chose Hotel Belvedere. It isn't far from the airport and is conveniently located on the other side of the river compared to city centre. The hotel serves good food and there are some restaurants a short walk away. There is a nice view over the city centre behind the hotel.

Average overall. Huge parking lot, terraces in every room. Double bed room is not spaceous. Poor recepcion service, swimming pool is outsourced, and the description didn't include their demand to have swimming cap, or you can not enter the pool. Therefore people are scammed to by the cap for 5 euros at the pool recepcion. Anyway, you can use sauna and hammam, but not the pool itself.

The hotel is on a hill so rooms provide a beautiful view over the city. It is at walking distance to the center. The rooms are nice and clean. Personnel is helpful. Food is descent. A great benefit is the free access as hotel guest to the World Class gym with great equipment and the 25 meter swimming pool.

Great view, clean& staff with reasonably friendly. Only weird thing was they would only except cash at the bar and the ATM onsite would kill you in commissions.

Double room was clean when we arrived. But, we stayed there for 9 nights, and all they did was replace soap and towels. Not once did they clean the sink or bathroom room floor. Did not change sheets or even make the bed in 9 days. The buffet breakfast is excellent, everything you can imagine. Dinner in the restaurant...excellent soups, main dishes were mostly awful.

Belvedere is a communist-era relic with a few modern-day touches, which makes it attractive to both melancholic and up-to-date travellers. Rooms are in need of some TLC, they look very dated and rough. At the same time, the sheets are clean, beds comfortable. There was a bath tub. The quality of the toiletries is another aspect that could be improved. There was very little in terms of shower gel provided. The shower curtain a bit stained at the bottom. On the plus side - the heater was easy to control and very welcome after a day freezing in the mountains. The balcony could do with a few sitting stools and a coffee table, at least. Breakfast was reliable, run-of-the-mill, nothing special, but does the job very well. The best part of the hotel is the access to the spa, with a 50m length pool. Alas, the dry sauna was not in use due to a technical fault (a missing fuse, apparently). Why it takes up to a week to fix it beats me. The steam room worked a treat, but extremely crowded. The Gym was also a welcome surprise, good quality materials. On the down side - there was no water fountain in the gym, which is a non-sense, just a gimmick to rip you off a bit more by buying their overpriced water at the counter. Come prepared for this - Romania is famous for charging for water everywhere (restaurants included) All in all, this is the place to be if you're looking for reliable quality, are not too demanding and enjoy the very good value for money this hotel provides.
