A great base for watching rugby game in Newport

Finding the room in the manor house was a challenge and a journey in a lift 3 escalators and a 10 minute walk. Car parking charge is outrageous and another 10 minute hike wike with luggage in the rain. Not great if you are elderly.

Enjoyed my stay but no offer to help carry my bags i am Disabled had to carry 3 bags upstairs myself

Great stay - only negative was weak / inconsistent signage for negotiating the labyrinthine areas / connections between The Manor and The Resort facilities.

Well known hotel really wanted to enjoy my self but was really disappointed took us over 30min to check in due to system playing up room was not as stated carpet ripped drawings on the wall toilet seat broken bath tub had some dirt did make a complain to the manager and they tried to ammend things and was very professional but the experience we had overall just damaged everything they tried to ammend

Checked into our room and sadly disappointed it was two single beds pushed together Room was ok however dusty around lampshades. I did expect more Parking is a fair distance from the hotel if it was raining we would have been soaked You can hear the TVs and arguments in other rooms

The staff were incredible; nothing was too much trouble. We will 100% be returning in the near future.

Great stay, do reccomend. The restaurant near the golf club was really nice. Great views and service. The main car parking is expensive.

Such a shame that such a beautiful property can be let down by poor communication from personnel and signage. Part of the character of this place is its myriad of timber lined hallways and beautiful carpets, but when it takes seasoned travellers 15 mins to find their room, something's wrong with the staff and signage communication, which led to a really really frustrating end to our holiday, trudging around lifts and staircases to find our Manor House room. Could've been a dream stay! Here's a tip... "good hospitality removes gueswork!"

We have dined in some pretty posh places over the years and the best service we have ever had was at this venue. Particularly Lewys in Steak and Six dining and Charlie in sales. Do not get me wrong all the staff were exceptional but these 2 stood out.

Very clean and comfortable room. All information was app based and the app was not working properly on all pages which was frustrating. Lovely resort and facilities though and would definitely recommend.

I was in Cardiff for work and needed to stay over. The room was a good rate for the Cardiff area. Trying to Check in was hard as the drop off carpark has a 20 minute limit before it charges yo £15. It took me 10 minutes before I was checked in at the desk, my room was a distance away. so by the time I've got back to my car; 25 minutes! I did complain and this was resolved. Next; the car parks are all metered. the underground CP is £20 for overnight, the only other option is to park outside a distance away for £10! I been at work all day; really don't want this at the end of it! The room was very clean but the Toilet seat was broken, nearly put my back out when I sat on it! The staff where ok but if felt like the place is to big for anyone to bother with you, "some one else will deal with that person, I m going on my brake!" Shame as it is a nice hotel.

Beautiful one night stay. Comfortable beds, amazing food in Pad restaurant and lovely spa facilities. Will be coming back.

Low cost alternative to the main hotel sharing the same facilities and dinning options. Good location for a business trip.
