Staff were exceptional. Food was world class! The location was definitely fantastic with well manicured gardens, golf course and things to do.

this place is for relaxing and stay away from the busy working or life style. their food was so delicious. all the staff were very helpful especially the butler achu , he helped us to get the healthy food for my 8 months old baby.

we had spent 6 nights in hunas falls, truly worth to stay there and all the staff were excellent and very humble . they make sure we dint have any issues during our stay. especially the butler Achu had personaly helped us alot to provide the baby food for mu 8months old baby.

The room was generic, fine but unspectacular, the wifi was sketchy. The view from the balcony of the manicured gardens and hills in the distance was sensational. A bit deceptive to say that it's right on Hunas Falls doorstep- the real Hunas Falls is 1.5km down the road, the only part of the waterfall that is close is a tiny trickle about a metre high that they refer to as the "upper falls". Plenty of staff, but little idea how to maximise enjoyment. Despite the large number of chairs and lounges around the pool, they were stunned when we requested our lunch or snacks be served there instead of in the restaurant. The pool is surrounded by ugly plastic decking that gets boiling in the sun, but at the moment, even that would be a luxury because half are pulled up with the concrete ridges that can't be walked on exposed! We had to battle for a 2.00pm check out despite the fact the hotel was mostly empty. We enjoyed our stay but if better managed, it would have been more positive.

We only stayed here for one night, but it proved to be a lovely retreat from the hustle and bustle of the cities. The location is absolutely stunning! An incredible secluded spot which can only be described as Eden-like. The hotel grounds were immaculate and brimming with wildlife and plants. Fantastic service by all staff - highly recommended.

Hunas Falls is one of the most beautiful place in Sri Lanka. It shows the nature and the art to design a garden from its very best. The breakfast on the verandah of the restaurant near the lake and the fresh breeze of the beautiful hill country you will keep in your mind ! The rooms and the services complete the picture of a place you have to go when you want to see the beauty of this island.

this was one of my dream places to visit but end up with a disappointment. Terrible food,I think they re use remaining food.only positive - Garden was nice and well maintained.Will never visit again.

At first we had a room that had problems in the A/C & the shower was stuck. But they upgraded us to the Japanese Suite which was fascinating! The butler Acho was a total advocate for our happiness & comfort! The areas around the hotel were mind blowing! The falls& the lake were great. I looking forward to go back there!

After a disappointing stay in a second rate Kandy hotel we searched desperately for hotel/location that would get our holiday back on track. How fortunate we were to find Hunas falls. The hotel is set in the most wonderful grounds with incredible views. Although there were a few very minor concerns about the room (no internet, cleanliness), the facilities, staff and location more than compensated for our concerns. We would definitely go back if we visited Sri Lanka again.
