Very friendly! Lovely room. Clean, and the bed was bigger than expected for a single room. I arrived about 5pm Friday and plenty of parking available close by

Small but comfortable room with adequate facilities. Nice welcome from host and breakfast included, although only for a small window (and a bit early for me at the weekend!). No parking but permits available for street parking which wasn't too busy when I stayed.

A lovely stay - the room was spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed and an amazing shower. Cooked breakfast was ok - not amazing (you had to make your own toast, which isn't a problem, but on checking the bread, unfortunately it was all out of date! Not sure if it had been defrosted but even then having 'reduced' stickers and 'basics' range bread isn't acceptable in my opinion). However, I would recommend staying here as it's very convenient to walk into Carlisle, with parking on an adjacent road, and good value for the price paid.

We've stayed here before and because we were made so welcome it was our first choice to stay again in Carlisle. Our room was spacious, there is a double and single bed. Fab Greek restaurant within walking distance (booking req) . All Carlisle has to offer less than a mile away. Thanks Adele we loved our weekend trip J + C

Amazing guest house and such good value. Our room was lovely and comfortable. It was so quiet, we had a great sleep. Breakfast was lovely and our host was very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit Carlisle. Thanks

The room was comfortable and spacious ( only niggle the bed creaks)
Huge bathroom enjoyed a lovely soak in the bath!

Gorgeous original victorian / edwardian features around the house.
Great cooked breakfast.
Very close to city center so easy to find places to eat in the daytime and evening.

Our hostess was very conscious of our dietary needs and all the food was expertly cooked and served. The strawberries a special treat.
She made us feel welcome and well cared for.

I really enjoyed my short stay at Cornerways, quiet, clean and comfortable with an excellent breakfast served with a smile. Very close to the centre and I felt that I was very much welcome as a visitor to this high standard B&B. I hope to return. Many thanks.

Excellent B&B - would highly recommend. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. They also ensured we could have some breakfast as we needed to leave early in the morning

Would highly recommend this place. Amazing host. Spotless place everything you need is they. Such amazing friendly couple. Couldn’t ask for more . So helpful cheerful happy go lucky. Bed room immaculate. . Just the place to stay as so so friendly. Be back soon. Thank you for everything. 😃
