The staff and cleaniness of the hotel was good, but it was way way overpriced for the type of room (unit style bathroom etc).
Also the food was incredibly expensive - JPY8,000 for a dinner bento box (looked like something that would cost around jpy 1,500 at any other place).
I have been living in Japan over 25 years and I would not recommend the hotel because it was so overpriced. I drive a ferrari but otherwise i focus on value for money and this was certainly not value for money.
Staff were very nice and polite as one would expect in Japan. That's standard for Japan.
We ate our breakfast outside of the hotel for a quarter of the price of the hotel - full breakfast in the forest overlooking a beautiful stream - couldnt beat it.

A very friendly hotel for family. Our 5 years old grandson loves it. We love the in-house hot spring. Such convenient after a day out be able to come back relax & soak in the hot spring, so refreshing. Food in hotel is excellency both dinner & breakfast with wide spread & choices. Regrettably not enough time to eat full breakfast as rushing to go ski lesson for grandson. Close to town where lots of shopping & food at the factory outlets. Close to ski slopes. Don’t rely on Google direction as it takes you one big round & easily get lost at the interchange when one can simply go straight from town.

Stayed with my husband and dog. Everything was overpriced and the quality was way below average. Food was not great and the hot spring was one of the worst I’ve ever been to. Bath unit was nasty and old. I wish they reformed the hot springs. That would make things much better.

Room is clean, the buffet breakfast is unique and the most favorable is the staffs are really care about guests' safety. Typhoon no.19 is approaching today, hotel staffs keep sharing the latest traffic and typhoon information during our checkout.

hotel location is in remote area into the woods. From reception, checking-in and dining session, warm welcome and assistance across the entire staying. staffs are friendly with tidy and aromatic scent in the air which is a immediate plus plus. Overall speaking, we had a very good time in this hotel. All the staff we met were kind. The room is clean, tidy, quiet, and well facilitated. Only the hotel is not located in the downtown and it’s a bit remote. However, as we rent a car and it’s parking lot is very easy to access, location is not a problem to us at all.
