Check in was very good, room very spacious unfortunately the bathroom was small and needed updating which otherwise let the good accommodation down.

Right on the beach. Decent amenities, real close to everything! Nice little fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Nice pool, and nice path to beach. I think my favorite thing was the broom and dustpan to sweep up the sand from outside, what a nice touch.

Cleanest hotel in OOB! Newly renovated rooms. Spacious room with fridge, keurig, bureau, desk and 2 sitting chairs. Bathroom was unfortunately very tiny.
You can hear a lot of stomping overhead in rooms above. Ugh!
They offer coffee at front desk starting at 8am.
Best front desk clerk! A pleasure meeting Shirley. We just love her.
We will be choosing On The Beach on our future OOB trips.

This motel is a gem. Close enough to the action but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are nicely decorated and extremely clean. Little extras like a microwave, good size refrigerator and broom and dustpan for the inevitable beach sand make this stand out. We stay in about a dozen hotels/motels a year so we know a good place when we find one. The fact that we stayed here twice this year says it all.

The room was spacious - first floor and easily accessible for my 87 year old mom. However there was no couch or coffee table in front area so you couldn’t watch TV/read with your feet up. Or socialize. There was another tv in bedroom area but that was right next to air conditioner and when that was running it was really hard to hear TV. We have stayed at other rooms here and much more

The property is nice and very convenient to various restaurants & souvenier shops. Its a few steps to the beach. The carnival and arcades are walking distance. Staff, and special mention to our new friend Shirley, are super nice.
The room is clean. The outdoor pool is right in front of the property. There is plenty to entertain your children. There is microwave, refrigerator, Keurig & ice. The only thing I can say is, the shower is tiny so just be mindful of that if you are on the taller & bigger side. Other than that, our overall stay is wonderful.

For the price it was good, near the beach and an easy access. My only complaint are the beds. They are clean but the mattress is just as hard as a rock.

The room was spacious, the beds comfy, and the area was very clean. The location to the beach is great and is walking distance to the Pier and all the shops in downtown Old Orchard Beach. I would stay again.

On The Beach was a great motel. JJ checked us in early and couldn’t have been any nicer! The room was immaculate and the bed was so comfortable l slept longer than usual. It is a short walk to the center of town filled with restaurants, bars, and attractions. The best part was we were on the beach which makes it so convenient. I would definitely return.

It’s a great affordable place to stay on the beach. It’s very family friendly. Parking is easy and the beach is just steps away. Lots of great dining options and local attractions. It was a really fun time!

A very nice spot, and it was "on the beach". We could walk from our cabin to the beach in about 30 seconds. Staff was friendly and our room was clean, and nice. Will probably stay again next year

We had a wonderful stay at « On the Beach » we visited OOB in the past but definitely found in this Motel a perfect institution that will become our destination when visiting OOB. The location is perfect, not too far from the pier and all the activities but still pretty quiet, steps from the beach, the facility is spotless and the staff is very friendly. All the amenities are there; the heated pool, the hose and shower to remove any sand, comfortable beds even a BBQ for when you don’t feel like eating out. Will definitely recommend and return to this perfect location!

Super cute and clean. The property had been updated and the owner did a great job. Work station in front of the window with an ocean view would be great for those who work away from home. Bed super comfortable and separated from main living space, like a mini suite. Owner super friendly.
