Breakfast included, vert clean and nice room

Not sure if it was short notice so I paid over $300, and felt confident based on reviews. The hotel was not worth the price. Very outdated with visible damage and rooms could’ve been more clean. The hall we were in reeked of marijuana and could smell it in the room. It appears some member of housekeeping was unhappy, and we walked off the elevator listening to the staff member cussing and complaining I get it, but complain in a safe space away from the public. Unfortunately, this is the same staff member that walked in on me getting dressed after a shower. So that shows lack of communication. Just very unprofessional in my opinion. Luckily, we were just there overnight.

The good...Quick access to I35, breakfast was good and was continually managed/stocked until 9 am....and that's where the "good" stops..... The bad? Overly curt staff, the illusion of cleanliness in our room until you take a second look (trash behind the pull-out couch, "holes" in the bathroom doorknob that were stuffed with toilet paper so a person wouldn't be able to peek in, clothes left in the wardrobe....and most notably, the THREE INCH ROACH that was climbing up the wall when we were about to go to breakfast. Two thumbs down, definitely would NOT recommend. Never, ever staying there again.

There were a few things cosmetic things I noticed. The paint was peeling in the bathroom and some parts the walls were chipped showing the exposed sheet rock.the area was a safe area to stay in.

Great easy going quiet hotel, just what we wanted. Convent and easy access for floating the river. Everything was great again, but please bring back the biscuits and gravy, they were the BEST and one of our reason for picking this hotel!

We stayed 2 nites, Nice large room w/fridge & microwave. Lack of attention to cleanliness detail. The exterior of the shower frame was quite nasty as was the door jam of the bath. Just wiping it down would've improved it, Also, the shower door would not stay closed and that soaked the fIoor. I did let the front desk know this (room 321). Good breakfast. Warnings posted to guests for vehicle contents theft. Why not partner with the other hotel on property & hire a security guard, This is better then warning your guests, it shows you are pro-active, Hotel is on the frontage road with alot of things to do in the area. Overall, a good stay and I would come back.

Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Hotel needs some updates. Toilet flush handle was very loose and fell off twice, had to tighten it. Bathtub handle fell off, had to tighten. Wallpaper is pealing off the walls.

This hotel had a wonderful breakfast and we all enjoyed it very much. Thank you!

Friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and clean! Parking could have been better. Need more up front handicapped spots. Breakfast was good and the dining area is also very well maintained. The snack room was neatly empty; but in their defense we arrived on a Sunday evening in the height of summer activities so they probably didn’t have time to restock. I would recommend this location!

Room was dirty and there was a big black stain on wall. The beds were uncomfortable could not get a decent rest the two nights I stayed. Only thing that was good was the friendly service and breakfast.

Apparently something is wrong with the AC. The carpet, bedding and our hanging clothes all felt extremely damp. It felt like we were sleeping in wet clothes. Other than that, it was okay. I commend and appreciate the ladies at the front desk who were welcoming and helpful in getting us in our room a few minutes early so we could get ready for an afternoon wedding.

The property is well kept and the staff is friendly. They comped us an extra room since they had overbooked the style of room that we originally booked. This ended up being a really good thing as one of our rooms was musty and mildewy smelling which caused my asthma to react. The other room was fine as far as smell went. The rooms were relatively clean. I found hairs in several spots in the bathroom by the shower and door in our room. The other room had some black ash like substance on the bedspread and there was a hair on my daughter’s “clean” towel. All in all, it was fine. I would look elsewhere if I booked again though.

They did not have my King bed and instead gave me and my spouse a double. They also said they couldnt check me in under the reservation and said the card on file which matched my reciept didnt match their record and they had to double charge me just to check me in. I wont be staying here again and most likely wont use hotels.com again.
