We had a lovely two night stay in the Groom's Loft at the Coach house, the room had everything we needed and the bathroom is large with both a bath and large shower. Dave and Bev are great welcoming hosts and the cup of tea and cake on arrival were most appreciated. Tasty breakfast with plenty choice and locally sourced ingredients. The house is in a ideal location and it was good to be able to park and walk into the town in about 15 minutes.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hosts were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them. There were lots of little extra touches from tea and cake when we arrived to glasses of sherry in our room. They had thought of everything and it was an easy walk to everything we wanted to visit in Alnwick. We'd highly recommend a stay here.

This is our fourth stay at The Coach House and everything about our stay was excellent. David and Bev are exceptional hosts. High quality linen and towels. Terrific breakfast choices. Every taste catered for. Nothing too much trouble. Can’t wait to go back again.

Everything was excellent with lovely, friendly hosts. Extensive breakfast menu, all locally sourced and excellently cooked. Great location for town centre shopping, bars and restaurants (7mins walk), also for the castle and gardens. Can highly recommend this property.

Well situated quiet accommodation within easy walking distance of beautiful Alnwick. We stayed in the beautifully appointed Groom’s room which is upstairs in the owners home. It was spacious with a very comfy bed, a sofa, lovely quality furnishings and a table just outside the room where a perfect breakfast was served. Absolutely no complaints as everything was top notch and we look forward to returning and hopefully stay in their Tack room which has an outside seating area.

I cannot say enough good things about The Coach House! Mr. David and his wife are so lovely and so kind (their homemade breakfasts are incredible as well!). We stayed in the Tack Room and it was perfect. It had everything we needed and was quite nice to return to every evening. The location was within easy reach of everything we wanted to do. I could probably go on and on about all of the things we loved, but I’ll just say that we highly recommend that others stay here. Our first experience in England was absolutely wonderful, and The Coach House played a great role in that!

A wonderful stay in a lovely unit which was exactly as the photos showed. David (the owner) met us to show us the parking and explained the layout of the space. The breakfast choice was amazing and served at a time to suit us. Extremely comfortable and walking distance down to the town.

Perfect location. Very friendly greeting with tea & cake after a long journey. Everything provided that you could possibly need. Large bathroom with bath and powerful shower. Plenty of space including a table to eat breakfast and a seating area to read and watch tv. Immaculate throughout!

Breakfast is brought to you to enjoy in your own little dining area just outside the bedroom. The choices for breakfast were excellent and they catered really well for our dairy and gluten intolerances. The bathroom is very luxurious and has a large shower as well as a large bath (perfect for soaking after a day walking!). Alnwick is a great base to explore the area and we will definitely be back to the Coach House. David and Bev are the perfect hosts and you certainly feel nothing is too much trouble for them to help you have a perfect holiday.

Room was a brilliant size with a huge bathroom, it’s silent at night so you get a brilliant nights sleep in a very comfy bed. Breakfast was amazing with so many options. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to stay in Alnwick to book this B&B!!

Have just stayed at the Coach House Alnwick for 3 nights. Very clean ,comfortable & superb breakfast. Well situated for Alnwick Gardens & Castle & the Northumberland coast. Would definitely recommend.
