Loved the hotel, restaurant and bar in-house was nice. It is definitely walking distance to everything. The castle is about 500 feet away and the Scarborough Seafront area is only a few blocks away. Best of all, it is only about half a mile from North Riding Brew Pub and their great beers.

Perfectly located atop the cliffs & the view from my room was amazing. I could see the sea from my bed. Friendly & helpful staff. The room was clean & tidy but a little warm for my liking, which was dealt with. The en suite bathroom was spacious & included a bath to soak in after long walks. Water was lovely & hot too. Only downside was a very narrow shelf on the opposite wall to the mirror which was above the sink. I spent 2x nights there & would definitely go back. It's a great base with plenty of street parking for a very small fee via the hotel.

Room view was amazing, bed was really comfortable the only thing that really let it down was the cleanliness of the room, dust across the tops of mirrors, marks in the bathtub that would have come off

A great location, reasonably priced and available for a single night. The room was ok and clean, but the whole hotel looks very tired and in need of renovating.
Some guests were being moved to other rooms as I checked in, due to leaks and damp (it had been very windy the previous night).
I didn't have breakfast at the hotel.

Being at the very top of the cliff's makes this property suitable for those who don't mind a walk back up from the beach but maybe not as suitable if you have difficulty with mobility

We had a lovely overnight stay. We were able to park outside earlier than our check in, enabling us to walk down to the North Bay beach before our check in time.
The room was comfortable and clean, great value for money!
All of the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. Thank you 😊

We had a one night stay here the view from our room was very good a lovely sea view. The room was dated and basic although the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was in need of modernisation as the shower head was very old and had a shower curtain, although the bathroom was a good size.
The corridors looked like they needed a good hoovering.

A great welcome from the staff. Breakfast was good and the view from the restaurant was amazing. Room was comfy, if a little compact. All in all it was great place to stay

Room was horrid and cramped, photo’s on hotels.com clearly only show the best rooms. Priced for the location.. but don’t expect comfort or any kind of luxury.
