Enjoy a gentle pace of travel on the Dean Forest Railway from Lydney Junction. The heritage steam train stops at five charming country stations and takes you deep into the Forest of Dean. From there, you can walk or cycle through ancient woodland – look out for the remarkable 4-mile Sculpture Trail, with works by leading artists set among the trees.
