Visit the historic Ickworth House, just 5.5 miles away, where you can tour the grand Rotunda, stroll through beautiful gardens, or enjoy a picnic in the extensive parkland. For a taste of local history, head to Bury St Edmunds, a popular market town with its impressive Abbey Gardens, medieval architecture, and vibrant shopping scene. For access to horse racing, the National Racehorse Museum, the Jockey Club, Tattershall’s and many historic buildings. Wine enthusiasts will appreciate a visit to Giffords Hall Vineyard (9.2 miles), where you can sample local wines and learn about the winemaking process.
