Cozy and charming boutique hotel. Well located, close to center but still in a relatively quiet area. Wellness center is decent and breakfast buffet is nice. Overall charming.

Staff at the reception, wellness center & breakfast were on the slower end dealing with other customers or sometimes not available - not a business hotel. Small quirks in hotel room with plumbing (toilet flush and shower water pressure / temperature).

The bed was comfortable. The hotel itself was in good condition generally. The garden was lovely. Spa facilities good.

Booked a superior room which was expensive - we were given a disabled room. We were not informed this was going to be a disabled room. Had we known we would have booked elsewhere. The toilet was too high, feet didn't even touch the floor, basin was too low, shower leaked due to having double doors, floor was drenched in water after shower to the point where it was scary - could easily have fallen flat on our backs. Hooks for dressing gowns were hanging off the wall. Electrical sockets were damaged and we could not insert plugs. The room had the public toilets on one side, making it noisy at night time, the back of the bathroom wall had the kitchen behind it - again noisy, therefore noise late at night and early in the morning with trolleys going back and forth. Also noise in the garden was bad until beyond 1.00a.m. Considering the hotel was described as an oasis of peace following a day in the city, well it certainly wasn't.

so clean, the breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere was so peaceful after a hectic day out in Florence it was lovely to come back to the calm! gorgeous gardens too.

Having to book to use the pool and having allocated time slots. This wasn’t mentioned on the booking and I didn’t see the other comments in the reviews until it was too late. May have chosen a different hotel with normal access to the pool if I had known as that was the key reason why we chose the hotel for the pool access being in the height of summer!

Spa-Bereich sehr übersichtlich

De kamer was ruim en licht. De tuin is leuk om ‘s avonds even in te zitten. Het was ongeveer 12 minuten lopen naar de Duomo, prima te doen.

Wij hadden dit hotel geboekt, omdat er ook een zwembad bij zit. Maar niet bij alle kamers heb je toegang tot het zwembad. Het is ook meer bedoeld als spa denk ik. Wij vonden het overigens niet erg dat het er toch niet bij zat.
