Such a cozy and warm place. I was warmly welcomed even though I arrived late. The room was so cozy and warm. The location was great for me. The garden seemed lovely, hopefully, next time I can stay a bit longer.

Beautiful property with a lot of charm. Delicious breakfast prepared to order and very friendly and accommodating staff.
The driveway and walkway was covered in ice, which made for a tricky arrival. Some salt and/or sand would have been nice for the walkway at main entrance.

Beautiful home and property with friendly helpful hosts and a great breakfast. close to the airport in Halifax/Dartmouth so that was a plus for us.

A beautifully restored 150 year old home. The grounds provide a lovely, peaceful.place to relax. The host is very helpful and friendly. Our room was quite small but very comfortable

Booking.com did not provide a phone number for the property. We arrived late in the evening and had difficulty finding the property and could not contact them.

Breakfast was really good, and the property is really nice with a superb veranda to enjoy the garden.
Our bathroom was private but across the public corridor.

Beautiful scenery. So quiet. The architecture is stunning. The grounds are so well kept and groomed so well. The owners of the building were so helpful and they treated us like family. My family felt so welcome there, it was great. The young lady that made breakfast and kept everything clean was an amazing lady. Breakfast was delicious and everything was spotless and she was a great help to us. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back in the future.

The breakfast was total, very well prepared, and exceptionally presented. We were able to take our time, have conversation and enjoy with no time restrictions.
The home is truly exceptional. The most comfortable interior, with quality and beautifully laid out furnitionings,
interesting history, and very inviting and vast, well groomed grounds to stroll. We very much enjoyed the outside patio surrounded by perennials in bloom.
The room we had was very comfortable, and a bit smaller then two very spacious suites on the second level, which we would try and secure in the event of a second visit.
We did find the room warmer for sleeping then we are accustomed to and couldn't locate a cooling source.
The owner was so pleasant, very easy to chat with, and totally accommodating.
The only point I would make relates to it being very warm for sleeping.
