The buffee

The smoke detector goes off when you're running a hot steamy shower while the heater air conditioner at the same time. I went into a complete panic . But hey I survived!!! ha haha ha ha

The location was perfect. About 2 blocks or so walking distance from all the restaurants and shops of old town. The rooms were pretty decently renovated even with the exterior being a lot older and outdated.

We did not stay at the hotel, the room did not meet our expectations. This was already 2 weeks ago and we have not received our money back.

Front desk agent was not friendly or welcoming at all. Scowling face. Didn't talk at all. She put the paper that I had to sign in front of me without explaining anything. I stayed quiet waiting for her to explain the rate and tell me what I'm signing my signature and initial certain spots. I had to ask her. She finally replied and seemed very annoyed I asked her. After that she gives me the key without explaining what room number or floor. I had to ask her myself and also had to ask for the parking permit. Once again looked at me in disgust and then finally gave me the permit. She was very unprofessional.

I liked that it was very close to downtown which was the location that I wanted to learn more about. The location was awesome.

Unfortunately the water was way too hot in the shower. I told the staff in the front office twice about the temperature in the water. They said that someone went to fix the problem after we left the room. When I got back I wanted to shower again but I didn't want to waste water trying to regulate the water so I can shower. I almost burn myself to try to shower. Besides the water situation, all was good.

Places I wanted to visit were close by, Sea World, Zoo, and Old Town were all close by.

The carpet in the walk way is old and I tripped a couple times.

Bed was so uncomfortable, sagged in the middle, unstable. Rooms need updated, no breakfast in the morning as advertised. Miscellaneous taxes on top of taxes that can’t be explained? Not worth $140 per night .

It has good customer service, a convenient location, not far away from beautiful places. Nice room, but yes, it's not deluxe, but it has everything that you need, including a fridge, microwave, hairdryer, steam iron and coffee machine. And it was a nice breakfast, especially when the receptionist was making waffles by himself and there were delicious cakes and good oatmeal! I felt a really warm atmosphere in that old inn.

Your front desk staff were terrific, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and fresh.

The bathroom needs serious remodeling. Stickers adhesive was still on the mirror. The hook on the back of the bathroom door was stuck on with strange yellow tape. The toilet seat was loose.

There were signs of hard use with holes in the walls and the blinds were slightly broken (not closing properly). The room was clean but just worn out.
