My room was beautiful and clean. We took the train into the Grand Canyon, they took care of our luggage, and it was in our room for the stay at Grand Canyon. Great service!
It snowed heavy the night before, they didn't clean the parking lot. It was very slippery and slushy. I fell on ice going to my car.

The only good about The Grand Canyon Railway Hotel is the location
Way overpriced!!! Based on the facilities, this hotel should be priced in the budget category. I would give it, maybe 2 1/2 out of 5 stars yet it’s priced like a 4 star hotel. The bed was as hard as a rock, the pool area had holes in the ceiling and the rest of the property is in need of a major update: carpets, furnishings, towels… everything is really old and needs to be completely updated, unless they are going to match motel 6’s pricing.

Mix up with booking took along time to sort it out and after driving several hundred miles it didn’t help . Pillows way too soft and mattresses on beds are lacking support . Air conditioning was very loud and kept going off I believe they override it so it can’t stay on consistently.

property was very comfortable, clean and close to walking distance to Route 66 and their restaurants and breweries. front staff was very pleasant and helpful. If you were to take the train to Grand Canyon it was right there. nice fireplace to sit by after dinner and have a cocktail.

Comfortable, loved Spencer's pub. The food was great and enjoyed the train.

Great location ,beautiful hotel, very well kept. Staff was extremely friendly and service was excellent. Loved Spencers for a dinner.
Breakfast Buffet food was awful and not worth the money. Go to a local diner instead, several with in walking distance.
