Location. Flexibility for a late check-in time.

Were misled by the owner on arrival that he had a bigger house 3 minutes away from the original location. We opted to follow him to the other house and found out it had about 9 other guests. Could not sleep all night with the other guests noises and use of the bathroom all through the night...

The owner was very hospitable Pretty close to Toronto with a good price

Some people were making noise while I was trying to sleep. That was the only bad thing about this property.

The owner just walked into my room without knocking. I was almost naked with my girlfriend.

The house is very big, room and bathroom were spacious

the bad thing is that there are so many guests coming in the house all the time, they have many rooms available. So some guests are really noisy at any time of the day. and you gotta share bathroom with many people. what got me confused is that when I arrived at the address appointed in the website, the house owner said we should stay in another property that he owns so we ended up staying in another accomodation , not in the one mentioned on the booking.com there’s parking available but it is really confusing since the parking spot is small and there are so many people arriving in the house and parking.

Upon arrival host greeted me at the door and was given a tour of the property . As posted on the listings laundry was available , when i inquired about doing my laundry Host said it was not available . next I asked about using the shower in the private washroom , a man came out of the washroom basically naked and told me I would have to wait till the other two men were finished bathing . I felt very unsafe and unsettled seeing that I was the only female in the house amongst four different men sleeping in the house . Next I asked the host if I could see a tour of the bedroom , the blankets and floors were filled with dust , when I asked the host if the room and blankets were cleaned , he responded “clean.” He hadn’t offered to change them . Afterwards I had thanked the host for giving me a tour of the property but i did not feel comfortable . The host said it wasn’t a problem and I could call booking.Com to receive a full refund . when i left theproperty I followed up with booking.com they contacted the host and informed me that the host will not give a refund even though the host agreed before I left and did not stay there due to the deceptions and conditions . Iattempted to call the host , when I asked him about the refund he said “no refund “ and hung up the phone on me and blocked my number . This was a very terrible-experience and very dishonest.

The surroundings help me escape from the city's busyness and truly relax. It feels like coming back from a long trip and returning home where you stretch yourself out and have a good night's sleep.

Noisy, room is adjacent to the kitchen and laundry room. People cooking until 11pm and at 4am. Laundry being done at 10pm. Woken up at 6am by residents. No television

Privacy. Availability & willingness of owner to assist. I felt I could reach out for any reason. They accommodated our needs, even for a one night stay. All rooms were tidy. Towels were offered.

Security. I felt the home was secure from the outside, but as there are multiple guests inside, it would have been a comfort to have cameras in the communal space or bolt locks on the door to our room. All surfaces were clearly sanitized on a regular basis, but the handle on the interior of the room was sticky.
