Breakfast was fantastic. Made to order omelettes and hash browns. Lots of food and drink choices. Allowed to take a tray up to room for the ones that couldn't make it to breakfast. Also liked the happy hour where you could get snacks and soft drinks included and discounted alcoholic drinks. The staff were great. Even at the early hours of the morning, they organized transport for us when our Uber couldn't fit all of us. They took care of it for us and called us alternative transport that arrived so quickly. They didnt hesitate to help us. Rate the staff highly for their friendliness and their helpfulness.

Location to downtown Houston was excellent across the road from Toyota Center and 5-10 minute walk to convention center and minute maid park ( we went to our first ever baseball game and it was so convenient ) , room size is more than adequate for 3 adults . Breakfast area never felt too busy and the evening reception was the best of the three Embassy suites we stayed in on this trip .

Nothing specific against this hotel but it was the third ES we stayed in between 3rd and 15th of August 2023 and the breakfast and evening reception got a little bit repetitive ( Houston had the best and varied evening reception ) . Rooms have a little bit of a 70s vibe

To many Flys in the area ,to many people in the street ( homeless or Addicts.) I see one in the elevator ..come on is a embassy hotel.

More security in the street around the property

Free cocktail at happy hour, with chips and salsa were very good.

The room I purchased w/ 2 queen beds was "not available" so one of us had a king & the other slept on the couch...sofa bed was uncomfortable. Shower sucked. Also, the pool was closed.
