Facility needs some care

The room was quiet. AC worked well. The beds were comfortable. That is all of the good things I can come up with. There are more bad things, than good things. We didn't use the pool, but it looked nice!

First of all, there is NO such thing as The Old Mill Inn, It is the Best Western! Nowhere does anything say that the Old Mill Inn is now a Best Western! We drove around all over trying to find The Old Mill Inn, finally, we stopped at the Best Western to ask directions, only to find out that the two were the same motel! Management more than doubled the price of our room, just because of some big baseball game in town. There ought to be a law! The motel is VERY difficult to get to if you come from the West on Dodge. We were not the only ones who had this problem. The HOT breakfast was pre-frozen eggs warmed up, Biscuits that had been sitting and dried out, and gravy that was dumped out of a gallon can. The waffle maker would not make a whole waffle, half of it stuck. The juice machine was broken. The entire place is stuck in the 90s, and needs to be remodeled, especially for the price they charge! English is not the first language spoken at this motel, enough said! I had requested a handicapped room and was given a room on the second floor with two queen beds and a bathtub, not the ideal situation for a handicapped person with a walker. The room had coffee packets and coffee cups but no coffee maker, no telephone, and no alarm clock in the room! The TV only had a streaming service, so no local channels to watch the local news and weather! The motel was way overpriced for what a person received. I have stayed at a lot nicer places, for a lot less!!!!

First room given there was a person lying in the bed. Tried again with another room… not cleaned trash and unmade bed.

Surprisingly nicer than expected.

Everything staff was awesome they worked with us when we had to check out then back in for a second booking let us keep the same room. Breakfast was good room very clean and bed very comfortable

Wish the pool was open but did not make the stay any different
