Parking

No power, unpleasant staff, dirty carpets, moldy shower, dirty walls. Unable to open windows as they were screwed shut?

Location

Pool was closed and front desk seemed to know nothing about it. Power went out around midnight and was restored just before 4am. My husband requires a CPAP machine so he had to stay awake until power came back on.

The location was perfect for the things we had planned to do while in Redding. There were many restaurants and a laundromat in close proximity. It was a very short distance to the Sundial Bridge and Turtle Bay and family.

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable for our adult grandson to sleep on. We ended up taking the mattress off the metal frame and closing the bed then putting the mattress on the floor...better but not great. While taking the mattress off, several things that had dropped down under cushions fell out and the underside of the sofa needed a good vacuuming. Wifi wasn't that great, but we weren't in the room too much. We asked for an extra pillow for my grandson and the clerk told him that there were no extras, that he should take one of the three on the queen beds and reluctantly gave him bedding to use. Food selection for breakfast was pretty lackluster.

To quote my husband, 'crap'..but for the room rate, I guess you get what you pay for....The breakfast room was a large size closet.

The place was a non smoking hotel. The lobby smelled like smoke! The room carpet was stained, the bathroom door knobs were falling off. The bed was not on the frame, bugs in the room. Pink mold in the shower caulking, bathroom drain plug broken, bed was lopsided and slanting. Elevator tracks had food and garbage in the tracks. The elevator doors and room doors were dinged, scuffed and scratched. When they painted the walls, the roller hit the ceiling and they left it that way. I just can't ....... Staff was marginal, not friendly or professional.

Room had been smoked in Older building. Needed painting Restroom fixtures needed replacing Faucet missing cap on handle ,no stopper in sink Towel bar screws backed out Door handle loose Location of property in bad area

Rm 110 - the air was blasting on high and the room had a strong unpleasant odor of dog urine. We were moved to room 220 and the carpet had stains all over with some being sticky. No towels in the room.

Lack of cleanliness

Fire alarms went off twice, both were false alarms. Tv didn’t work, network was spotty. Room had a coat, pair of socks and bottle left on floor under bed which I did find until morning. When I told front desk they just asked for room number and said oops, sorry
