Even though the hotel is old and needs updating I can handle that. The place was filthy. Outside was dirty especially with cigarette butts all over the walk ways. I realize this was not created by the hotel but should have been cleaned daily. The room - wish I had gloves and a mask. Nothing was wiped down. Walked over to toilet took some paper and wiped around the lid. Paper turned black and I showed the wife. Big mistake. She fussed at me about being so cheap and not getting a quality hotel. I am glad the lighting was poor in the room. Also, no hot water at sink. Looked underneath and valve was on. Went down to front desk and explained the situation and the young lady said she would text the manager. This was at 5:00pm. I asked was it going to be fixed today and her response was she did not know. It was never fixed and no one made contact with me to even say they were sorry for our inconvenience. When I checked out the next morning the young man did not ask how our stay was. I realize why now. Like asking someone how they are doing and you get an ear full. The bottom line is the hotel stays booked this time of the year due to its half the price of others and it is on the beach. The owner is a savvy to keep the price down and do no upgrades or proper cleaning. They keep their overhead down and make more profit.

The woman at the front desk that lives on the property deserves a bonus. I don’t know this woman at all. She had a been roughly around 25 years old. She helped me and she’s got a kind heart she deserves a raise.

The view,, close to the beach, And the room had no bugs what so ever.

No security, backup lock on the door needed fixed and the windows and drapes needed cleaned.

The staff is amazing! Hospitality is their focus. Every staff I had contact with was friendly and helpful.

That I couldn’t stay longer. Honest if I had to say something I would say that when I used the dryer it could be hotter than it is. That’s it really.

The property is run down and very dirty looking. The room was spacious and fairly clean. Furniture was outdated and nothing matched. Looked like yard sale items. No phone, clock or hair dryer. This property is not as advertised. It is definitely not non-smoking. Smoking was everywhere and not just cigarettes. They were many large dogs on and in the property. Room was as clean as can be expected at the beach. It was cheap to stay here, but would not stay here again.

The room was not cleaned properly before we arrived. It seemed run down and needs some repairs done thru out the room. Did not feel good about staying there with my children. We had to leave.

right on the beach . gorgeous to wake up to the waves . nice chai latte and hot chocolate / coffee machine in lobby . staff ( with face piercings - can’t remember her name ) was super sweet ( got us extra blankets for sleeper couch , wine opener & internet password , and let me ask questions about the family suite ) all with a smile and positive , sweet attitude . nice pool by the beach ( although too cold to go into this time of year )

not walking distance to restaurants

bed was comfy ,staff friendly and helpful. side ocean view. spacious room with king bed and walk in shower. ac worked well. tv with cable.chairs and table to sit outside. pool with ocean view deck very relaxing.

mold on shower ceilin and corner walls. dusty dirty ac filters. furniture and bathroom vanity need updating, bathroom wall by shower had a rot hole n it. no coffee machine in room... and the loby does not open for coffee till 8 am and we get up at 6 am ... rusty chairs in room and bottom window pain cracked . outside of buiding chipped peeling paint all over . very un maintained. pool water very cold but clean pool at least. load room neighbors all night and smell of pot all day and night..

It was absolutely beautiful at this property...very French decor n vibe here at this hotel. It was definitely worth the price. But most importantly I felt safe and the staff are top notch in helpfulness and customer care.

The improvements they are making are spectacular. It's a comfortable place to be right from the check in. I can't wait to see it when they are finished!
