The location is very beautiful, and we saw a family of deer near the resort. The room was perfect: spacious, great beds, good bathroom. The hostess was very friendly. I would stay here again if I had the chance.

We were shushed all the time, thought we were going to be in cabin so we could have time to visit friends. We were all 70-80s and I didn't like the arrangement for elderly people.

Everything! Friendly host, beautiful grounds, beautiful lodge, with a great history. Can't wait to come back.

Beautiful place and a beautiful location! We only stayed for one night but I wish our timing would have allowed for more. The stand-up paddle-boards free for use were a great addition. I loved being able to drink coffee on the dock in the morning. We even watched one of the DVD's available to borrow. Honestly, the amenities were fantastic, and the hosts were incredible during our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away for the weekend.

The staff were amazing—so nice and accommodating. We wanted to go out on the dock after dark to watch for Northern lights. We forgot a flashlight and they provided one for us. We loved the private and serene setting. A family of loons put on a real display right in front of our window! The view from our room was beautiful. We made good use of the kayaks that were free for guests.

I have allergies and am sensitive to scents. Even though the bedding was very lovely, I had a headache and my eyes and nose ran. I had brought my own air purifier and used that.

Athough we arrived and left early, it was a beautiful spot in a charming builidng with a very well appointed, and comfortable room. Would have liked to stay longer.

Great location Lake was perfectly calm the two days we were there. They supplied kayaks canoes water boards paddle boats etc and life preservers so we could do almost anything on the water. Great place to unwind and enjoy the day. We would surely come again

I am allergic/sensitive to fragrances, and they use scented fabric softener. When the dryer is running it is in the air outside, as well as in the room. I was coughing and sinuses bad.

Great location and beautiful property with lots of options to relax, walk, jog and enjoy nature around the lake. You can breath fresh air and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful nature. It's close to some restaurants and cafeterias that offer great service and food.

Cabins had a bit of humidity smell. Doors locks need to be replaced, they got stuck and hard to deal with.

Lovely, lovely place. I was lucky enough to get Room 7 -- this is the room I will request when I go back. A corner room with windows covering nearly 2 of the 4 walls. Great view of the lake!! Wish I could have stayed longer to take advantage of more that they had to offer.

I was there because of work so would have appreciated better WIFI -- but if I wasn't there for work I would have appreciated the less than perfect connection to outside pressures.
