It’s clear that the folks who refurbished the double wide put a lot of creativity and craftsmanship into the project. The woodwork around the door jams, chair rails and baseboards are impressive. We used the two queen beds, which were pretty comfortable. We had to use the “bunk” rooms to house our things as the ones we slept in were a bit small (taken up by the larger beds).

It’s a bit old and worn out. The floors are uneven, furniture and fixtures are worn and outdated. There is only one fan (in the kitchen) so the bedrooms are hot - even with the windows open. A number of lights were out or flickering. The directions received were not quite accurate and a neighbor saw us and got on his 4x4 to get us there. It was mentioned that 4WD is needed (which we have), but we still ended up with a sharp rock taking out a tire, so we had to change a tire during our stay. The description says that the property is rustic (which it certainly is) and that you can fish and wade in the Payette River (which you cannot)….same neighbor told us that the “river” is actually just a wetland and not to wade out because we would sink in the silt.

The location was exceptional! Very remote and placid. The natural view with the mountain, meadow, wild animals and the sound of birds made it really special. The ranch caretaker was helpful and friendly too. We liked being surrounded by nature. Having a campfire - remember to bring camping chairs and wood.

Be sure to bring drinking water, it appears to be on a well that has lots of minerals.
