We loved everything about our stay here. The accommodation is great, the staff are lovely, and the surrounding nature is breathtaking. The beaches are white and soft, and the limestone cliffs are awesome. We had regular encounters with monkeys, birds, water monitors and more. We attended a delicious buffet at the Grotto, and breakfast was of a high standard. Just along the beach is a small village with places to eat and drink. If you get up early, you will find paradise with empty beaches and still waters.

I wouldn't say we disliked anything. Food and drink are a little pricey, but you can eat out of the resort if you like. The bed creaked a little on one side, but that's it really.

La beauté de l’hôtel immergée dans une végétation luxuriante. Le confort de la villa. La plage de Phranang magnifique et celle de Railay d’où l’on peut prendre un long tail boat pour aller à Ao Nang. Les restaurants tous délicieux ( mention spéciale au restaurant thaï et a la soirée buffet dans la grotte). Le petit déjeuner très copieux. Et surtout la qualité exceptionnelle du service partout et tout le temps. Une petite erreur au moment de la réservation nous a valu le transfert depuis l’aéroport et un dîner offerts. Bravo à toute l’équipe et à Lek en particulier pour son accueil chaleureux !

Perfect location and the beautiful nature makes this hotel top hotel in Thailand. The staff was really-really nice , not just pretending the kindness. The breakfast was superb! My favourite spot was the beach lounge under the trees (umbrella beach) near the Grotto restaurant. Do not miss the thai cooking class!

The famous Railay beach is very overcrowded and noisy during the daytime. No seaview from the rooms. The bungalow pavilons are located in the middle of the nature garden , 5 min walk from the beaches.

Nun, hier versagt eine Punktekategorisierung, da ein „outstanding“ Charakter eines absoluten Luxusresorts bewertet werden soll mit dem Anspruch der Perfektion. Wenn 1/3 der Halbinsel mit exclusivem Zugang zu allen 3 Strandabschnitten insbesondere des allerschönsten Phanang-Strandes vom Resort belegt sind, hektarweise trop. Garten und kleine luxuriöse Doppelstocklodges. 4 verschiedene Strandrestaurants auf höchstem Niveau, das „Grotto“ ( oh wie herrlich zum Lunch!). Tartar vom Gelbflossenthuna,…Mit was soll ich vergleichen? Service abgehoben, vom feinsten, jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt, alles was das Herz begehrt. Wir waren schon vor 30 Jahren hier zur Bauzeit, damals hätte ich nicht geglaubt, daß hier ein Garten Eden entsteht - für die, die es sich leisten können/wollen. Damals konnt ich nicht, jetzt wollt ich. Ja, am Beach liegt man 2m erhoben von den „anderen“ Strandgängern mit freiem Blick aufs Meer und allseits freiem Zugang. Dazu riesiger Pool am Railaybeach, Gym, Yoga, Tee/Kaffee mit Pianisten am Flügel, Aktivitäten,….

Irgendwann war unsere gebuchte Zeit vorbei, wir mussten das Paradies wieder verlassen. Ja, es war sein Geld wert -OUTSTANDING!

Sem dúvida foi o melhor hotel que já fiquei na vida! Super recomendo essa experiência! O lugar é lindo, bem localizado! Atendimento maravilhoso! Nunca fui tão bem tratada! Tem o restaurante com a melhor vista! Sem contar que passei meu aniversário lá fizeram um bolinho e ainda ganhei flores!

Tropical paradise. Wonderful personalised service. Great food - breakfast selection was good and the cooked breakfast options were fantastic. All included in the room rate. Loved the exclusive location in Krabi, which is truly a beautiful part of the world.

We had an individual two storey pavilion literally a few metres from Railay Beach. The property had so much character and a secluded seating area at the rear backing on to the natural rock face. The accommodation is of a very high standard with many attractive features, Beyond our pavilion, the reception, restaurant and spa areas were luxurious and an absolute pleasure to spend time in. Everything felt peaceful and relaxed. The grounds (22 acres + I believe) are beautifully maintained and have an incredible array of different plants. The pool area is large and offers a prompt food and drinks service on request. We dined in The Grotto restaurant two nights and the restaurant did us proud on Night 2 in arranging a romantic setting. The food was nicely prepared and arranged. No review of Rayavaadee would be complete without a mention for the staff that work there. Their service was exemplary and communication amongst their team to ensure our needs was simply “perfect”. The team that looked after us in reception and in the Grotto particularly stood out for their care and attention. We absolutely loved every minute of our stay.

It’s a shame that some of the beach areas on the exterior of Rayavaadee’s boundaries are public as it would simply be paradise. That said the property is skirted by some of the finest beaches in Krabi and after sunset, the beach areas do quieten down. It didn’t detract from our enjoyment at all.

We really loved everything about Rayavadee. I dont think we've ever met nicer people than the people in Thailand, especially at the hotel. The fact that the hotel is located in the jungle makes it such a unique experience. The smell of the jungle forest and seeing wild monkeys play in the trees was just too good. We also saw monkeys from our bedroom! In the morning you have all the beaches to yourself before the tourists come in per boat. Also, the food was really good. They have different restaurants and we tried them all. Please try the chocolate dessert.. we ordered it from our room, im not sure what its called anymore but it was the best dessert ever.

We stayed too short!

Exceptional location, facilities and property. You'll get access to all the surrounding beaches from the property. I saw someone describe it as a 'luxury jungle resort' and that's exactly what it feels like. Plenty of wildlife, great staff and perfect location. Highly recommend.

we told the transfer team it was our honeymoon - this news travelled far and the team at the resort laid on a bottle of bubbles and decorated our dessert at our Grotto dinner - just blew us away with their attention and care and this made our trip to be honest. The resort is stunning - you’ll need good big repellent as the mossy’s are savage so bring DEET, but this is a slice of heaven and a must for staying somewhere for a slice of luxury. the Grotto is a showstopper for food and views, and the team at the resort offer service I have never experienced before. just incredible.

During my stay at Rayavadee Resort in Krabi, one of the standout features that truly stole my heart was the magnificent pool. It was an absolute delight to indulge in the refreshing waters of the Rayavadee Pool, and I cannot speak highly enough of this exquisite oasis. The sunset is spectacular

The food in the grotto is expensive and just regular nothing special.

The staff and attention to detail were top-notch. The rooms are so homey and well designed, your own little hideaway. Also the food was delicious.

The expense of everything inside seems quite disproportionate. A small issue checking in because I used a different card to book and pay in advance, so they wouldn't let me check in and I had to pay everything all over again with the card I had with me and wait 1.5months for a refund. I felt like I was getting kicked out at the end because I had a late checkout.

You have to book the hotel transfer (it costs about 3-4x times more than a regular transfer) otherwise you will have a hard time getting there.

the view and the swimming pool

there is no explanation from the staff about the boat to Phuket they told us it’s direct to Phuket and when we go in the boat we stop 3 time and we change the boat they told us 1 hour and half and we take 2 hours and half.

I liked the staff! Incredible staff! All very polite and educated. Made the difference in the hotel!

The price! Everything absolutely expensive. Also the food was nothing special. Railey beach was terrible with the noise of local boats all day long. How can they allow that? The hotel must take actions with local parties to immediate cease the noise of the boats. Besides being aggressive to nature it simply does not allow clients to relax.

Raya, she checked us in and was truly exceptional! everyone has such a great smile and amazing customer service. the facilities were also great and overall I completely recommend it!!

over priced! they charged us to get to the hotel on shared boat $900TBH, we walked 2 min and was told the ppl charge only $100 THB… anyway, good experience
