Heerlijke villa om te relaxen

Als ouder stel, dus wat moeilijker ter been. Was het in- en uitstappen van het zwembad een onmogelijke opgave. Jammer dat er in het hotel geen restaurant is. Je kan wel een soort van thuisbezorgd.nl doen. Een aanrader op loopafstand is de Warung Old Brick waar je lekker kan eten en elke avond live muziek.

Well, maintained property with nice greenery and in a quiet area also had a very well appointed kitchen with a great big fridge freezer .

We stayed in Villa D which was a twin villa, but unfortunately the second bedroom did not have garden or pool view . Like a lot of pools in Bali they do not have a last step and it is quite a job to sometimes get out of the pool .This might be a problem for more senior people.

We were in villa j, right next to reception. The pool area was well maintained with a shower/toilet there meaning we didnt have to use the one in the villa. Bath and pool towels provided as well sarongs but 1 of the bath towels had brown marks on it. Top marks to the ladies who came to make us breakfast on 2 mornings. The security was very good. Liked that they provided mozzie repellant.

The place was tired and needed a refurb or at least a deep clean. The bedroom was noisy so didnt get a good nights sleep. When i used the soap and shampoo i felt that it didnt get me clean so used my own. Seems like if you dont tip then you dont get the turndown service that reception happily informed us was a service they provide each night. We got this the first 2 nights but not the last night so we had some insects (turndown service is supposed to include a nightly spray of the villa). I didnt see the lane that you have to go down to get to the villa and from there to the beach mentioned in other reviews. This was our first time to bali so didnt know what to expect re the state of the lane. Rain meant the lane was impassable on foot without wading through the puddles which spanned the entire width of the lane. We made sure to return to the villa before dark as the lanes are unlit and didnt want to encounter any dogs or rats. Not directly the fault of the villa but i feel this is an important point for other travellers to be aware of especially those with young children

Excellent location, accommodation and staff who cooked us breakfast each morning.

The property was so close to everything. Great location. Miss it already.

The bliss villa (3 bedroom villa) is a magazine villa, as beautiful and into detail from a design perfective as it can be. The pool was amazing as everything else around it and the entrance to the villa. Staff was very supportive and made our stay as comfortable as possible

The kitchen / dining / living area was not having AC, which considering the humidity and the temperatures made it quite uncomfortable and the use of the same more limited. Same happens with bathrooms, completely outdoors, which is beautiful but not fully practical. Mainly for the living area, an issue that needs to be arranged considering the money that you pay for it. We ended having dinner with other family with whom we were traveling in their 2 bedroom villa because of this…
