next to the hotel I was originally staying at but they didn’t have another room and I need somewhere to stay for 1 extra night so found this place. so location wise very good very central in downtown with a lot of shopping and food places and close to the Egyptian museum

could hear the traffic outside from the room. windows are very thin and old. the whole building is very old. didn’t get the room I booked. was given a shared bathroom which was not the option I had booked, but the guy at reception kept saying that is the correct room with a shared bathroom when that wasn’t the option I have booked. there was another guy at reception who spoke to me the next day who was nice and apologised. there was also no towels in the room or soap. the shower curtain does not go all the way to the bottom so a lot of water goes on the floor and creates a big puddle. people smoking in the reception area which you can smell from the bedroom and people watching tv at the reception which you could hear. the room smelled. there was no heating as it gets a bit cold at night. Guests are mainly locals with a few foreign travellers. the pillows were uncomfortable. very pricey for what it is. got the room cheaper as booking gave a discount for last minute bookings otherwise would have been a lot more. could have payed a little bit extra and gone to another hotel with a nicer comfortable private room. if the price is cheap and you’re on a budget then it’s passable but expect the bare minimum.

I stayed here for 3 nights. I booked and paid for a room with private bathroom and the first night they gave me a room with share bathroom, then the changed me the room for the rest of 2 nights. The room was narrow and also it was like a cupboard under the stairs. Quite cleaned but on the walls its plaster was peeling off. The last day in the bathroom the boiler didn't work. The breakfast was included however it was poor enough. No coffee at all!! So it doesn't worth the price for the double room. Not recommendable!!!

Pathetic hotel with Pathetic staff. The manager at desk is an old grumpy man who doesnt care about the place. The rooms are too bad probably the worst I have seen in my life. I would never recommend it to anyone. The only reason I had to book such a place was because we had a flight early morning and was left with no option.
