The food, nature and a welcoming ambient.

Very nice agroturismo at the foothills of Etna. It's a little bit of a twisty, climby, narrow drive to reach it, but it's surrounded by greenery (vineyards, orchards). The stone buildings and the surroundings look enchanting, the rooms are spacious and comfy (we even had an internal staircase). Breakfast was top notch and plentiful, the pool was clean, inviting, and colourfully lit in the night. There's also an outside grill and associated seating area that one can enjoy. They do produce their own olive oil and wine. Spacious parking.

This is simultaneously good and bad (it really depends on what you wish for): it's kinda far away from civilization. If you want secludedness (but with all the modern facilities), then it's heaven. If you want bustling city life, then it's not for you (it's a roughly 35min drive to Taormina, for instance). The road is narrow, twisty and with a fair amount of climb. It's definitely romantic the first 1-2-3 times, but it becomes tiresome after that.
