Spacious apartment, very clean and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast buffet with a lot of choice.

Hotel is pretty far from the city centre

We were staying in one bedrum apartment which was very nice. Rooms are new, breakfast was great. Lovely pool and nice staff.

Stopped at beautiful Podgorica for a night's rest during a long roadtrip and quickly booked a stay at Perla Residence Hotel & Spa. The lady at the reception was very professional, spoke perfect English, was eager to help us with our luggage and offered a free surveilled parking spot, provided accurate information and overall checked us in flawlessly. The hotel room was way way bigger than we expected having seen the photos; it was actually a whole apartment rather than a simple room. There was a fully equipped and modern proper kitchen with a kettle, oven, fridge, coffee machine with capsules, a living room with a sofa, armchairs and a big flat TV, a sleeping room with a double-sized comfy bed, a squeaky clean bathroom and even a study room that we didn't even have time to use. Breakfast was served at the room on time and was pretty tasty and enough to keep us energised for a big part of the next day. There is an effective smart system in place where guests check what they'd want for breakfast on a card the night before, hang the card right outside their room door and get breakfast at the room the next day. Plenty of breakfast options available and prices for non-including free breakfast bookings and drinks from the bar seemed value for money and affordable. The spa and swimming area are somewhat small, however they felt very comfy, non-crowded and relaxing. Had the place to ourselves and could control the sauna freely, quickly raising the humidity levels by pouring water over the stone stove whenever we wanted.

Once one guest in the apartment had a hot shower, the next one had to wait for a long time before there was hot water again. On the other hand, heating at the apartment was more than adequate and could sometimes actually get too hot. The lighting at the place could be warmer, it made the apartment/room feel a bit like a hospital. The sauna needs some time to get warmed up. Please note that the residence is not close to the city centre; I had to walk around 30' to grab food after midnight when everything seemed to have closed down. However please remember that this is more of a retreat than a local central hotel and there must be many restaurants around during working hours.

The staff is superbly nice. Arranged airport shuttles for me and my friend, and also booked a taxi for us to Budva. They even allowed me to stay until 4 pm on the check-out date without any extra fee. Definitely recommended, would love to revisit it if possible.

Sauna didn’t heat up that well

Not located in the city center, but there is parking for those traveling with a car. There is a sauna and a pool, the minus is that the pool was not heated (28° according to the clerk but it was really cold). Breakfast was OK and satisfying and the hostess in the dining room helps the diners nicely. The minus in the corridor next to the room in level 1 was the smell of cigarettes, it doesn't seem that the smoking ban is enforced.
